It is, but not the way you understand it. It’s best AVERAGE speed. That doesn’t mean it is slow. In every form of racing winner is the one with best average speed over xxx laps or xxx km.

I believe you’re wrong! I don’t think it’s as much Lotus as it is Kimi’s driving style and his set up. We don’t see Grosjean doing same things as Kimi.

Because in my opinion Red Bull had nothing to gain with drivers racing each other, meanwhile Mercedes (with Rosberg) perhaps could have won it. We’ll never know.

He should have let him past on his own. Simple as that. Normally don’t have a problem with team orders but I don’t see the need for this as early as second GP.
