I share your opinion that both drivers should take some of the blame. As such, I don’t agree with any outcome where fault is allocated to one party alone. Even if the penalty is toothless.

That’s a good point @bradley13. I’m quite baffled by how this could be. Even super softs vs softs won’t account for losing 3 seconds from testing to the race.
Any fanatics with some ideas on this?

Ricciardo was a very close runner up in his rookie season in FR3.5. This season he finished 5th in the championship… not bad considering he didn’t start 4 (or 5?) of the 17 races.
