@adrianmorse considering how Lotus consistently flunk pitstops, they should always go for lesser stopping strategies…

Kingshark replied to the forum topic How did Button end up ahead of Perez in Spain? in the group
F1 5 days, 1 hour agoI think it does matter whether or not it is the race leader that moves over, for many of the fans.
Yes, but very likely, Hamilton would not have been able to catch and overtake the leaders if Kovalainen […]

For some reason Hamilton’s car has been slower than Rosberg’s car by quite a margin. Hamilton is trying to be modest but Merc should know better.
There are 3 possible explanations:
1. […] -

and it is at days like these I wish I could view F1 without having a clear favourite driver, as a Sunday like this ruins my whole day
Mate, I know EXACTLY what you mean! I’m a huge Button fan and […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Hamilton doesn’t want another race like that 1 week ago
@adrianmorse exactly! It’s interesting I think that the argument against changing the tyres is that one team will dominate, as I think that is exactly what these tyres are doing: apart from in Malaysia, one driver […]

Didn’t he drive Giedo’s car in Bahrain?
I’ve got conflicting information on that now so I’ve changed the line. He did drive Van der Garde’s car in Bahrain.

Max Jacobson commented on the post, New car and new races for GP3′s fourth season 1 week, 5 days ago
@adrianmorse the most annoying part is that it is completely unecessary: all the teams build their cars to much lower weights than the threshold, which is then all just made up with ballast. It’s completely […]

M Dickens commented on the post, Mark Webber’s 200 F1 races in pictures 2 weeks, 4 days ago
Often something happens that sets him back (usually a poor start), and from there things go from bad to worse
This x 1000. When he doesn’t have a poor start, he’s generally jostling with the […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Why do F1 cars keep running out of fuel? 2 weeks, 6 days ago
@adrianmorse – I always thought simply deleting that laptime would be sufficient, so say Hamilton’s pole lap wouldn’t have been valid and he would’ve started lower down consequently. Or even just exclude them from […]

Mike commented on the post, Perez was “too aggressive”, says Button 3 weeks, 5 days ago
I’ll agree, slowing on the apex is very common when defending. I think you can see Perez was very hot headed. However I think that’s a good thing for him.
In this case, I think really, Button […]

@adrianmorse I’m not usually one to defend di Resta, but I do wonder if Sutil wasn’t in clear air for more of the race, which made him faster in relative terms. In any event, stunning pace from the Force Indias, […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Bahrain’s repeat podium is a rare occurence for F1 3 weeks, 5 days ago
@adrianmorse – but that is the point! He had his stop behind him with a fresh set of boots and only had to make two more stops, whereas Vettel had to make the full three. That’s why the gap was less at the end, […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Bahrain’s repeat podium is a rare occurence for F1 3 weeks, 6 days ago
@adrianmorse – of course that makes a difference, but he got rid of the medium for the hard which was widely recognised as being the better race tyre. So not a free pit stop, but a pit stop nonetheless. So […]

I don’t see how @rahul1810 can be wrong.
According to @adrianmorse Adrian Sutil was
- 81.3 seconds behind the leader on lap 2
and
- 76.6 seconds behind the leader on lap 55 (finish)that means, from […]
