It appears now CVC have shifted over 50% of their holding in FOM that necessary floatation has trundled off into the distance. Maybe the pressure is off to keep adding events to the calendar and we’re back to […]

Couple of stories suggesting Lewis being pushed… Have to say it’s got a bit personal between Ron and Hamilton. Whether it’s Rosberg, Schumacher or Massa that are affected who knows? wp.me/p2HWOP-22 wp.me/p2HWOP-3A

Possibly lost it through bad Ferrari strategy, just like Canada.
Hey just watched 2010 season review (6 hours of races/interviews). The number of drivers talking about tyre management after each GP was […]

AJ commented on the post, Vettel on course for Red Bull’s first Canada victory 11 months, 1 week ago
This race has the potential to be like an old fashioned Bridgestone race. Tyres lasting forever – undercut not working as tyres take a few laps to get up to speed.
Vettel will probably try to run and hide as […]

AJ commented on the post, Monaco GP receives lowest rating of 2012 so far 11 months, 2 weeks ago
All these suggestions saying the racing was boring because of the top 6 conserving tyres maybe are missing something. The Caterham is still around 2 seconds a lap slower than the McLaren and Jenson had no need to […]

AJ commented on the post, Webber wins close Monaco GP Driver of the Weekend vote 11 months, 2 weeks ago
Seeing as the race is an irrelevant procession, I think Schumacher should have done better in the pole as the only excitement at Monaco these days is qualifying. It’s the first real significant achievement for MS […]

Plus no one cares what happens in the Sunday procession. Pole sitter wins – 2nd comes 2nd….. In fact, in the last deacde it looks as though F1 has outgrown Monaco. At least car, driver, tyre unreliability used […]

Say What? No Schumacher votes yet?
I’m no fan after the Damon Hill incidents etc, but after all the **** he’s taken about coming back and not being good enough any more – to go and stick it on pole – AT MONACO – […]

Usual Monaco bore fest . They pay no hosting fee. It’s just a technical test the drivers enjoy but as a spectacle for viewers. Also an excuse for the self indulgent F1 circus to party and fraternise with minor royalty. Yawn.

Typical XIX…..
That’s how they fleece Lewis 10-15% of his income by promising him a Beckhamesque brand building opportunity….to make him a global icon.
First thing they needed to do was sort out the […]

AJ commented on the post, Can rejuvenated Ferrari end 11-year wait for Monaco win? 12 months ago
PS I believe it excludes safety car incidents and is a merely a strategy calculation to see where cars would lie (all things being equal) after the final round of iit stops. I think they do […]

It is Pirelli’s own prediction apparently based upon the latest information from the teams and their own track and other current data.
I am merely the conduit of information. lol.
However, IMHO – all things […]

Apparently a 1 one stopper coming in on Lap 37 for a new set of options (super soft) – so starting on the prime (soft) – comes out ahead after the final set of pit stops for 2 or 3 stoppers.
Whether they can […]

AJ commented on the post, Teams not concerned by lack of qualifying running – Pirelli 12 months ago
As has been said pole has won 3 of the 5 races this year and is still important, but Q3 is compromised by 7,8,9,10 not running as they can’t get pole and worry if they use an extra set of tyres they give 11,12,13 […]
