@mfreire I’m fine with China although they support more the local product wish is fair to be honest. The WEC race had a big crowd, Abu Dhabi is well marketed but only if you’re a rich guy…

@mfreire I know this is a supposition but from a realistic POV. You’re a doing the thing that Bernie always wanted to do. Races everywhere in exotic places so he can fill his pockets with $$$$$$$$$$$$.
A 27-race calendar is something impossible from the logistic POV also team and even some journalist didn’t wanted a 20+ race calendar for obvious reason. I’d bring back testing of course.
Starting a season in January. This is not 1979 where you could race with a 2 year old car and still being competitive.
I know this is a supposition, a dream or whatever but this is too fantastic to be real….

@fer-no65 At the beginning I was keen to see what Mediapro was offering but after finding out that Directv was involve. No thanks. Fox Sport’s coverage is crappy indeed starting from the pit reporter to the commentators especially the guy who has a sort of man crush with Ferrari and also the coverage it lacks of professionalism as they talk of “old f1” rather than what is actually happening on the race track.

Checking the headline I got it wrong (bit of sensationalism from me) but still anyway a serious matter because the significance of F1 for the Brazilians and viceversa is huge.
About the TV rights, the big thing here has been that Mediapro brought the TV rights of F1 in Latin America (except Brazil) on march. The contract runs from 2015 until 2019.

    1. What country are you in?
    Chile

    2. Which channels broadcast IndyCar near you?
    ESPN and ESPN3

    3. Do they show all the races live or only a limited number?
The full season some race are show on tape delay due schedule clash.

    4. If they are a subscription channel, what does a full year’s subscription cost?
I have Movistar so that channel comes free on my TV package so I don’t have to pay an extra charge. (15 pounds per month)

    5. Do they broadcast coverage online? If so please post link/s
    espnplay.com
For the Indy 500 they habilitate an OnBoard channel with 12 views.
Need to subscribe with your Cable company.

    6. Please supply any other relevant information such as alternative viewing options

    1. What country are you in?
    Chile

    2. Which channels broadcast F1 near you?
    Fox Sports franchise
    Fox Sports
Fox Sports Premium (Only for Chile)
Fox Sports 3 (Free Practices, GP2-GP3 live and reruns of Races, Qualy and the post race)

    3. Do they show all the races live or only a limited number (if so, how many?)
    The entire season

    4. Do they also show qualifying live?
    Yes

    5. Do they also show practice sessions live?
    Yes, since 2011

    6. If they are a subscription channel, what does a full year’s subscription cost (excluding limited time offers)?
Well it’s a bit confusing but if you wanna watch F1 live in Chile you have to buy the “Fox Sports Premium” (7 pounds per month) to get the F1 races and Qualy live while the Free Practices and GP2-GP3 are live on Fox Sports 3 which is available on every cable company here without paying an extra price.
Here’s the mindblowing fact. The “Fox Sports Premium” runs only for Chile. Places like Argentina, Colombia, etc don’t have to pay for that “premium pack” they watch the races on Fox Sports.

    7. Do they broadcast coverage online? If so please post link/s
http://www.foxplay.com/sports Only with TV subscription. Not available as a internet only subscription but not available for my Cable company (Movistar)

Until 2012 F1 was being shown Free to air on Chilevision then Fox Sports broke the contract at the end of that season……

    Here’s singing the Chilean Anthem

I was as a “Photographer Assitance” so i had an All Acess pass and i walk into the Garage, spoke with the Engineers, David Coulthard signed my cap, freed Red Bull, free Food, beautiful Girls it was cool.
I can’t tell you if the showrun was lame because the last time an F1 car did a Showrun was in 2006 and of course everything was different. So we didn’t care about those detaills we just enjoyed the Showrun. : )

to me the worst driver in Formula 1 history was Al Pease and Yuji Ide.
Victor “Al” Pease: Canadian driver, he drove in the Canadian GP one time (1969) for John Maryon. during the 1969 Canadian GP at Mosport Park he was DSQ for being too slow, !!yes too slow¡¡ maybe a fact was the heavy rain in that race but you cant drive in a track 69 km/h per lap. the DSQ happend when Ken Tyrrell made a scandal when Jackie Stewart almost crash with him.
he had sucess but in the Canadian motorsport even he was inducted as a member of the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 1998.

about Yuji Ide everyone knows about him, but i leave this video when he drove in the Suzuka 1000km in 2006. is in Japanese but but I believe we can understand the images by themselves.
