I see your point there, but I prefer teams that make their own chassis and engines and would rather see car brands, than Red Bull or HRT which are just ridiculous.

@andae23 maybe FIA decided to bring ‘safety’ into the issue, and forced all the teams to bow.

@andae23 May be there was no need for all teams to agree for such change, perhaps as noted by @keithcollantine below. So that vindicates both Ferrari and Lotus then.

I disagree with your point considering how privateers also sporadic appearances with the exception of Williams and McLaren. Engines suppliers too.

Red Bull is currently using McLaren products (alternators)…. :)

@andae23 I don’t know the meaning of the word “luck” :P You can pretty much bet on the opposite of what I say happening – so maybe I should just go exactly against my instincts :)

Red Bull was more vocal, but they were not alone. Drivers in particular did not like those tyres, apart from Kimi, I don’t recall many positive remarks on tyres made by drivers.

@tony031r @andae23 au contraire, F1 is boring because drivers can’t be at all reckless – they have to be totally risk-averse. The teams might take a risk in strategy, but drivers are tiptoeing around at 70-80% […]

@andae23, true, but I have the feeling that the modified hard didn’t work as well as expected, or at least was trickier to get to work than the medium, which actually worked pretty well for most drivers.

@andae23 apart from mercedes, has any other team in history had 3 poles in a row yet not won any of those corresponding races?
