AndrewTanner commented on the post, DRS and tyres: Has F1 got the balance right? 2 weeks, 3 days ago
I’m enjoying it so I going to put neutral for both, simply because I can’t say it would be better without either agressive tyres or DRS nor has it improved the show. Ultimately it’s largely hypothetical to ponder […]

@spinmastermic Don’t forget that him and Vettel raced prior to F1 where Di Resta often beat him. Obviously, this means its a certainty he will win multiple wotld championships.

@hwkii I already have!

Few teams polarise results as much as these guys. They can’t ever string anything together and it makes it hard to distinguish driver ability from the car.

Just another reason why I love this sport – nothing is ever straightforward.

Im getting pretty tired of this whole equality thing. We dont have a problem with it so I do wish people would stop banging on about it.

Im a bit torn on the prize money issue. On the one hand, if teams can factor in not having that $10mil then it’s up to tyem to fund their campaign entirely. I’ve said time and time again that this isn’t a charity. […]

Terrific race for strategy, brilliant! Epic final stint from Vettel and plenty of calamities to keep things dramatic.

AndrewTanner commented on the post, Webber sent to the back of the grid over fuel error 1 month, 1 week ago
@keithcollantine These people don’t actually understand the sport so therefore feel the need to create something they can understand: rubbish. End of the day, all they want is 43 points, they demonstrated hat in Malaysia.

@smudgersmith1 Hardly! They’ve already identified it as in issue with the fuel bowser.

It’s entertaining for us fans but it’s a shame he had to use some of his rubber to only start from the back.

No one ever ‘deserves’ to win, this is a sport, not a charity.
They ought to have to fight for it but also respect their peers and employers. Anyone who believes Webber, or Vettel for that matter ‘deserved’ […]

AndrewTanner commented on the post, Why Mark Webber’s next move may be from Casey Stoner’s playbook 1 month, 3 weeks ago
@vzx7qf That’s all well and good but you don’t get to F1 without showing promise, which most drivers have to do. Until he’s in an F1 seat, previous records and accolades aren’t good enough. It’s a different beast altogether.

AndrewTanner commented on the post, Why Mark Webber’s next move may be from Casey Stoner’s playbook 1 month, 3 weeks ago
@vzx7qf A bold statement, considering he’s driven 0 F1 GP’s. Webber is a proven race winner, the other isn’t even a rookie.

I find it hard to sympathise with Webber, he seems to be in a minority. I appreciate it may not be to his liking but we’re having good races.

@jonsan Considering Vettel won his second championship not far far after half way through the year in 2011 that just couldn’t work ;)
