asingh1 commented on the post, Fun or artifical? Mixed views in China Rate the Race 3 weeks ago
As to rule changes to aid racing, We had that covered for 2014 with a big downforce reduction & a return to ground effects (What Indycar has done with there current car with great success), However thanks to […]

asingh1 commented on the post, Alonso rues ‘two unlucky moments in four races’ 4 weeks ago
Actually, Alonso’s more likely to quit than other drivers. Remember Korea where he said ‘I give up, I give up’ on the radio?

Love it

asingh1 commented on the post, Rate the race: 2013 Australian Grand Prix 2 months ago
I think this race showed Alonso is bad at chasing a driver further up the field. Similar to Spain last year, he takes too much life out of the tyres at the beginning of the stint; the driver ahead if he manages […]

asingh1 commented on the post, Ecclestone: teams could cope with 22-race calendar 2 months, 2 weeks ago
Don’t think you would need to provide teams with more revenue. The revenue the teams receive is a fixed percentage of the ‘pot’. If more races were to exist, their organisers would contribute a hosting fee, which […]

asingh1 commented on the post, Vettel’s focus gives him edge over Alonso, says Marko 4 months, 1 week ago
I definitely agree: in 2012 Vettel was concentrating on his own racing and getting the most out of the car, whilst Alonso was busy playing pointless mind games and pandering to the media.
I think Alonso’s […]

It also normally produces terrible racing that flatters even Abu Dhabi

asingh1 commented on the post, McLaren’s mistakes cost them championship success 5 months ago
Despite screwing up the beginning of the season, I think there was still a chance at Singapore of salvaging the driver’s championship. Obviously, more unreliability put paid to that.

asingh1 commented on the post, Ecclestone: F1 must remember it’s in “show business” 5 months, 1 week ago
I think it’s good that it is being considered a show. As a result we have Pirelli tyres and the incentive to introduce something to overtake – whether it works or not is debatable (but works IMO).
When it […]

asingh1 commented on the post, FIA confirms Vettel’s pass on Vergne was legal 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Don’t think it comes from the organisation; like Martin Brundle has alluded to previously I think when the STR guys see the RB guys in the mirrors they remember who writes their pay cheques!

asingh1 commented on the post, Button wins intense race as Vettel recovers to seal third championship 5 months, 3 weeks ago
terrible SC restart
Wasn’t particularly bad: Vettel mentioned the damage to his car had hurt the dry weather performance and the top speed of the car.

asingh1 commented on the post, Button wins intense race as Vettel recovers to seal third championship 5 months, 3 weeks ago
I don’t think it was disgusting at all. I think it showed the mark of the man: he was willing to let Vettel through so it wouldn’t cost him any time (which he didn’t have to do). It was a poignant moment in that […]

asingh1 commented on the post, Alonso deserved the championship, says Domenicali 5 months, 3 weeks ago
What came of all of that zen-like crap Alonso was coming up with – that he was 100% certain of winning the title and that Ferrari were the better team?

asingh1 commented on the post, Alonso: We can win the title with a slightly slower car 5 months, 3 weeks ago
If Massa was driving with the form he showed during the latter parts of the season at its beginning, he would no doubt have out-qualified Alonso more, validating this further.

asingh1 commented on the post, Vettel clinches drivers’ championship hat-trick 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Completely deserved for Vettel. So, at the start of next season it will have been six seasons since Alonso last won a world title – a long time in F1 terms.

asingh1 commented on the post, Maldonado penalty promotes Alonso to seventh 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Had nothing to do with skill – he was a complete passenger before the car gained sufficient traction just before the barrier.
In that very same qualifying he was lucky even to make to Q3 – he was outside the […]

asingh1 commented on the post, 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix grid 5 months, 3 weeks ago
I think it was just because Alonso felt emasculated at being outqualified and Ferrari felt they needed to restore his pride.

asingh1 commented on the post, Maldonado penalty promotes Alonso to seventh 5 months, 3 weeks ago
Some of the best luck I’ve ever seen in the course of one whole season.
For instance, at Silverstone he was so close to hitting the barrier in qualifying after losing control – an unluckier driver would have hit it.

Not long now until tomorrow morning when will Ferrari confirm this and we’ll all be rightly outraged

Alonso would do well to forever wear a helmet dedicated to Massa if he wins the championship this weekend
