@bbt – he’s cashed in his lost luck from Valencia!

I’m not sure Alonso had the pace for P1
He was fastest in Q1 and Q2, and 0.001s off the fastest time in FP3.

@xjr15jaaag @bbt Ahh thanks guys. I was dumbfounded, and I like to think I know a lot about F1. I wonder what the casual viewers thought it was?! It was more like an exercise in perception, than actually seeing […]

It just keeps amazing me what these teams come up with @bbt, I am curious how many of those kind of clever things are there on the different cars in the field!

timi commented on the post, Ecclestone: F1 may abandon free-to-air TV in UK 11 months, 2 weeks ago
@bbt The thing is, Bernie doesn’t care how many people view it. And why should he? He’s getting old and will be moving on soon enough. He’s proven himself to be a money-grabber, rather than someome who truly does […]

Ok smarty pants. Now explain how to have that happen. -
David-A commented on the post, Schumacher fastest but Webber on pole in Monaco 11 months, 3 weeks ago
@bbt – I think Webber is faster over one lap than Button, but yes, Button is more consistent and fast over a race distance.
Although 2001 and 2008 weren’t good for him, he did well in 2002 and 2006.

AndrewTanner commented on the post, Schumacher fastest but Webber on pole in Monaco 11 months, 3 weeks ago
@bbt Indeed, it was good to see. A respectable .1s behind his teammate in Q&A. I think Massa can be happy with that.

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Button leads Vettel in second practice in Spain 1 year ago
@bbt – Only stating what Jenson Button himself was reporting, on the hard compound anyway. RBR haven’t had many problems since they fixed the exhaust exits in Bahrain, that improved overall downforce and allowed […]

@bbt “you got to admit that in a majority of DRS overtakes (not all) the defending driver has hardly any chance in defending, ”
No, sorry, nothing for me to admit.
The great battle between Shumi & […] -
Matty No 2 commented on the post, DRS overtaking falls in first races of 2012 1 year ago
@bbt Gear ratio’s are irrelevent in this current discussion as to weather a driver is able to defend against an attacking driver with DRS, but I’ll get to gear ratio’s later.
But, that does raise the […]

Mads commented on the post, Should F1 change its tyre strategy? 1 year ago
@bbt
True!
But I guess if that was the case everyone would jump to whatever tyre supplier is best, and result in what is effectively a sole tyre supplier.
Of cause it would give the tyre manufactures something […] -

Thats what i’m trying to get at.
If its the teams that don’t understand the tyres they will experience unexpected issues in different conditions and under different fuel levels, but unless there is prof […] -
Maksutov commented on the post, Should F1 change its tyre strategy? 1 year ago
Change the rules and make tyres slightly more conservative. But overall FIA should do whatever is necessary so that drivers are actually racing and not trying to drive slow 90% of the race.
I agree with @bbt […]

@bbt do you have any source on that? because I can’t find anything.

Mads commented on the post, Should F1 change its tyre strategy? 1 year ago
@bbt
Of cause the Ferrari is running at the limit of the tyres.
The Ferrari might be off the pace, but it seems quite out of balance, and that will mean that if he drives it on the limit he will most likely wear […] -

Are you sure that its the tyres that are inconsistent and not just the teams that don’t understand how to use them? -
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Grosjean and Kobayashi set identical fastest times in Mugello 1 year ago
@bbt – it isn’t strictly true that Mclaren are going backwards, they had gearbox trouble which gave them limited running at one of the onlydry spells thus far. I’m not disagreeing that they may be unable to make […]

@bbt . Agree he didn’t make it to Q3, but it was a decision to save an extra set of tyres for Sunday. I’m fairly certain he could have made the Q3 cut if he had gotten another run in.
I think his performance […]
