@omarr-pepper you should also like this addednum:
In accomplishing this feat, they have both beaten Ayrton Senna’s record of 0 blonde appearances in an F1 car.
30th September 2015, 12:55 at 12:55 pm #306408BenHParticipantAny fact you say?
Vettel went Blonde in August 2013, a full 2 years before Hamilton achieved the same feat.
7th May 2015, 8:32 at 8:32 am #297823BenHParticipantI think sometimes the only reason people remember Mark Blundell is because his name bears a striking resemblance to Martin Brundle, who obviously is still well involved in the sport (although can imagine some only thinking of Brundle as a commentator and not an ex-F1 driver)
5th May 2015, 15:38 at 3:38 pm #297708BenHParticipantWould second Tora Takagi (I actually had a signed picture from when he was at Tyrrell – no idea where that is now. Probably the same place as my Alain Prost signed Prost GP picture)
Diniz was a quite competent driver. Think I mainly remember him from being in the other Arrows in 1997 though (he did compare moderately well with Damon though and was a fairly good qualifier from what I remember).
Tiff Needell is another that I think people forget had a stint in F1, although most UK people know the name well.
Johnny Dumfries is another one I like to remember (many remember him from winning Le Mans in the Silk Cut Jag). He went to the same school as me (albeit before my time, but I did know some of the other members of his family from when I was there) so have a mini connection to him.16th March 2015, 11:42 at 11:42 am #294547BenHParticipantWhen I went to the WEC at Silverstone a few years back, I went with the one ear in, one ear out solution. Best to buy a dedicated radio for the job rather than phone (or else goodbye battery life). Silverstone actually stock radios in the shop for about a tenner I think (and they have a nice big button on them saying “Silverstone Radio” to auto tune to the right station).
19th December 2014, 11:44 at 11:44 am #289253BenHParticipantPossibility to complain about the engines
Ability to fire all the team staff
Have “Puppet Bernie” show up and say something out of touch
Have some crazy rules mentioned in passing for next season which are then later abandonedOther than that, preferably a glitch-free game that isn’t just a rehash of last years (but with slightly better textures to make it “next gen”)
5th December 2014, 10:12 at 10:12 am #288130BenHParticipant@keithedin you may find this useful for doing tables on forums:
http://www.sensefulsolutions.com/2010/10/format-text-as-table.htmlGave me (with a few tweaks) this result for the initial table:

5th December 2014, 9:37 at 9:37 am #288132BenHParticipantWould love to see Stoneman in Indycar though. Think of the hype he’d get over there for all he has been through! They would love him stateside
5th December 2014, 9:35 at 9:35 am #288131BenHParticipant@fastiesty not entirely sure if Mardenborough would need Nissan to move to F1. Nissan and Renault have that weird symbiotic relationship where each owns half of the other or something, so it would not be inconceivable for Renault to push him into a team somewhere should the opportunity arise.
20th November 2014, 22:22 at 10:22 pm #286351BenHParticipantTook the wife and son to it in 2013. Wasn’t too bad. Spent most of the time round the Start/Finish straight. There is a nice bit of banking to sit on between Ascari and Parabolica which we watched the first half of the race from. We also managed to sneak under the grandstand at the exit of Parabolica for some really good close-up pictures (although after 20 minutes or so, others found out about this spot too, which drew attention from the marshalls who moved us out sharpish). Meant we got to see most of the pit stops too though. As for other spots, I couldnt say much more about other areas really as with a young kid in a pushchair, it wasnt ideal for getting round and exploring all the options but the areas we ended up were quite nice. Where we watched the first half of the race from was quite a nice vantage point to see the cars, but with no big screens nearby it was harder to keep track of goings on.
If I was going again though, I probably wouldn’t do GA again. There is a fair bit of walking required just to get to the track from the bus dropoff points (or the edges of Monza Park if driving – good luck finding space. We parked a mile away on the Thursday!). so once you get there you probably want to crash for a little while (especially if it is a warm day, which it usually is). Seats are better for that. Most grandstands have a big screen nearby too, however these were quite hard to spot from the GA areas we went to (may be better at the other end of the track, but could not say).
9th September 2014, 12:01 at 12:01 pm #274152BenHParticipantWhich would obviously mean the last driver in Q1 would not qualify (as 26 cars are the maximum)
Which then begs the question, what of 2015 and Haas?
Think that is my main stumbling point for this being in any way serious. If they are making this change then surely the need for another team is unfounded. And no team will want to go racing in F1 in this economy if they are not guaranteed to race, as exposure time is what the sponsors want. The backmarkers struggle enough for sponsors as is.
I really can’t see this happening. I think that yes, we may lose one team by the time Haas is here in 2015, but cannot see it being down to 8 and cannot see the return of the DNQ as standard in modern F1

Kinda wish I still had my iPhone now (although this would be the only reason!)
29th July 2014, 21:15 at 9:15 pm #268734BenHParticipantCan’t wait for the android app. And nice to see Firecruiser winning (however unrealistic that may be :P) on one of the screenshots posted on the article on your twitter. Just FYI, Firecruiser Towers use the Note 2 for the most part, so hopefully that will be supported (as it does have rather a large screen!)
18th June 2014, 22:35 at 10:35 pm #263368BenHParticipantWell I am nowhere near so wouldn’t be able to get there. If you are looking for more inspiration, some more Really Rubbish Racing teams could always be used to fill the gap. Perhaps my teamup with @ratonedge, Northern Monkey Racing: http://www.reallyrubbishracing.co.uk/index.php?title=Northern_Monkey_Racing
Plenty of other great team names on there too that i am sure people wouldnt mind being used in a motorsport game ;) – http://www.reallyrubbishracing.co.uk/index.php?title=Category:Teams - AuthorPosts
