ViewReally? I thought it was above the GP2 pits after turn 1? According to a ticketing website this is also the case? Remember there are two different pits and grids?

Does anyone know roughly how far the walk is from yellow car parking to Gold 1. The wife is nearly 8 months pregnant and just want to be able to tell her it’s not that far!!!

Front row. Taking my wife who goes […] ViewWe sat in Luffield 2 years ago but took in Becketts, Copse and the old pit straight for practices and quali. Last year we had Platinum Pit Straight and took in Abbey as well for the practices. This year we decided on Platinum Club B so see the podium and the pit entry. Will roam around for practices and quali as usual. Does look like another sell…[Read more]

Front row. Taking my wife who goes […] ViewLuckily we have Gold 1 tickets so hopefully it will be a simple walk from Yellow parking to the seats. My wife loves F1 and we’ll be hitting Silverstone again this year but it will be my son’s first taste. Front row should be good for the action and no one in front of us but as you say we are exposed to the elements!

Like you my son and I go to Silverstone every year and love it. We also ventured to Spa in 2010 and its a great track. You can’t see as much as you can at Silverstone as a lot of the track runs around the hills and throught the trees, but i’m sure you’ll have a great time.

Where are you sitting at Silverstone? We are in Abbey this year, and camping at woodlands. I think over the years we have sat in virtually every grandstand going. Looks like it will be another sell out crowd this year, can’t wait. Then we are off to Monza, went there last year and loved it, and the weather is great.

Last year, the podium was on the pit straight. I doubt it will have changed for this year. Enjoy!
