I thought that too until I tried it on F1 2011. No run-off would be the first issue, and the tracks have been designed to be run the way they are.
I suppose we’d get lots of hairpins onto long straights… -

I know the Wii doesn’t usually count but pretty sure this is the 4th consecutive game including F1 2009.
Still playing 2011 whenever the other half lets me rearrange our living room to put the wheel in front of the TV!

I’m glad the race is set to go ahead as it will put the spotlight properly on Bahrain. Too many countries’ problems are ignored because there’s no media interest in the West.
