To be fair to Withmarsh @bpacman he argues much the same point as you do. That the teams have been wrong not to stick together and make better arrangements for themselves, which in turn would give the sport more stability.

@bpacman your morning sounds almost identical to mine. I got onto the A43 at around 9:00am and parked my car at 12:30. I could only attend today, and I missed all of FP1 and the first GP2 session.

Think back to Spa last year where Maldanado was given just a 5 grid place penalty for intentionally crashing into Hamilton .
I agree that punishment was too lenient, but that doesn’t make this one too harsh.

Yes, it surely must be @bpacman, and it seems that Genii/Lopez is who actually wanted to end it, hence speculation he is still going after Group Lotus ownership, now with clean hands and w/o his team tied up in it.

Don’t rate the result… However, I kind of agree. I rated it a 9 as well, it would have been a 10 if we had seen an actual infight between Alonso and Perez, no matter who would have come out as a winner.

@bpacman That one did get a few nominations, but not enough to make the final ten.
Which is perhaps for the best because there’s already three by Hamilton in there!
