Broom commented on the post, Ferrari have Mercedes within range as Red Bull lurk 2 days, 8 hours ago
@hobo One thing to consider is Hamilton is still new to the team whereas Rosberg is in his 4th year so Hamilton could still assert his authority as the year goes on.
I also think Rosberg is more motivated, as […] -

Ferrari have often flattered to deceive on qualifying whereas Red-Bull and Mercedes this year have found huge chuncks of time. Hopefully Alonso can pull something out the bag as this is not one of Vettel’s best circuits.

Put him in any car and he’d be up there in terms of pure 1-lap speed. Think getting someone like Lewis as a team-mate who is much more consistent than Schumacher v2.0 has helped Rosberg up his game.
It makes […]

If at first you don’t succeed, moan about the tyres and get them changed. A sad day for the sport.

It needed saying. Bravo to the Horse Whisperer, Ferrari and Lotus. Its farcical that they are being punished because Bernie’s golden boys are struggling to win at a canter despite leading the WDC & WCC.

Hasn’t the whole season been an exercise in tyre conservation. And is it fair to punish Lotus and Ferrari for doing the best job with the tyres?
Anyways as someone who sat through many Spanish GPs this was […]

8/10 for me.

It was an excellent race, battles right to the end. Once again Alonso, Kimi Hamilton and Vettel impress. They really are the elite. Good race for Di Resta and encouraging performances for Grosjean and Perez.

He just needs to make sure he doesn’t over push his tyres. When ever he is behind Alonso he pushes so hard in order to keep with him, he wrecks his tyres and finds himself losing out on the pitstops.

Broom commented on the post, Vettel apologises to Webber for ‘win I’m not proud of’ 2 months ago
What if Red-Bull decide that Vettel is no longer worth the hassle and bring someone like Rosberg or Hulk and he goes on to achieve even greater things with Red-Bull than Vettel did. Vettel needs Red-Bull far more […]

Also shows the total disregard he has for his team.

Nonsense. I don’t like Vettel at all and his behaviour towards his team and teammate was appalling and showed just how little he regards his Red-Bull team but to compare him to Armstrong is out of order.

He is annoying but put yourself in his shoes, he is a 25 year old triple WDC with enough money to live a lifetime of luxury and is already one of the biggest names in his chosen sport’s history. He will mature, […]

Its easy to become sanctimonious but this was the last throw of the dice from a desperate team, under pressure from many over emotional and critical fans as well as the over emotional and critical Spanish & […]

Broom commented on the post, Vettel and Alonso take it down to the wire as Schumacher bows out 6 months ago
I think Alonso deserves it more. Red-Bull have built a very dominant car and Vettel is supremely quick but it is rare for a driver to be so close to championship despite not at any point having the fastest car. […]

Its not so much the fact its unhealthy. Its just that it’ll be disappointing for F1 if more global super corporations start buying current teams and winning. Imagine if Williams get bought by Starbucks or if […]

Well done Red-Bull. Classic tale of super rich drinks company, making it big to market an unhealthy drink!

You can’t say he is crumbling under pressure when his car is 4th fastest in qualifying. It isn’t good enough especially when your challenger is in the fastest.
