    Hi Alicia,

If you’ve not got it already download the F1 app from that app store (iOS) or Play Store (Android). You will need to buy a subscription but you can do it by the month rather than season long pass. Once you’ve successfully subscribed go into settings and there is one for commentary and you can pick local, international (BBC Radio 5 Live) or off. There is also an option for pit radio but this is similar to the TV version it’s just that the commentators don’t stop talking for it so it interferes with the commentary. Also, make sure you have Background Audio on so that you can switch the app off and still get the commentary. The app will also show you the timing screens that are used by the teams and the media.

Obviously this will need the pocket wifi but it’s definitely worth it and you’ll get a lot more english commentary with the app than an FM radio.

If you have any other questions give me a shout and I’ll try my best, I’ve been to numerous races before but this is my first Japanese GP so may not be able to help masses with Suzuka related questions.

    Colin
