1. What country are you in (and state, if applicable)
2. Which channels broadcast F1 near you?
Supersport on DSTv
3. Do they show all the races live or only a limited number (if so, how many?)
Yes, all races.
4. Do they also show qualifying live?
5. Do they also show practice sessions live?
Yes, but most of the times, not in HD.
6. If they are a subscription channel, what does a full year’s subscription cost (excluding limited time offers)?
NAD8760.00 +- 590 Euros give or take.
7. Do they broadcast coverage online? If so please post link/s
8. Please supply any other relevant information such as alternative viewing options
One could watch it via RTL on Deukom, but that costs about the same. Other than that, any online streaming is region limited and mostly not worth the hassle.5th September 2012, 14:40 at 2:40 pm #182107
Oh man… I am getting nervous. Flying tomorrow evening from Windhoek Namibia to Frankfurt, and then straight on to Milan on Friday morning. Hopefully I can make the second free practice still…
First time F1 race. I am so happy!13th July 2012, 14:46 at 2:46 pm #182073
@dawn baker we are also staying in Milan, so I guess I do not have any problem if you want to tag along. This is my first F1 race, so any pointers will be welcome. :-)28th June 2012, 11:14 at 11:14 am #182068
Tickets arrived today!!! Alta Velocita 6A.
About the banking, will they remove the barriers on Sunday after the race? That will be the only time I will be able to get there…1st June 2012, 14:17 at 2:17 pm #182065
I have finalized all my hotel bookings and Grandstand tickets. I am going with a work colleague and we have grand stand tickets for 6A and we are staying in a Hotel in Milan. I found that the hotels are reasonably priced. After all, all I need is a bed and a shower since I do not intend to stay cooped up in the Hotel room in Italy. First time Italy, first time F1 in the flesh… I am officially excited.
Btw, how difficult is it to get onto the old banking? I definitely want to get there somehow…5th January 2012, 14:03 at 2:03 pm #182033
Andrew, can I ask you what ticket you bought and how expensive it was? This will be my very first live F1 race I am going to attend and I am already getting dizzy with excitement thinking about it. I am however on a bit of a shoestring budget, so I will be very grateful for any pointers you could give me.5th January 2012, 8:26 at 8:26 am #182041
Hi Keith, I have been lurking on this site since I found it about a year ago and now decided to actively participate. Great Job on this site btw.
I am planning to go to the GP in Monza which will be my very first time attending a F1 race, but I have no idea were to start with accomodation, tickets etc. I will be flying in from Frankfurt ( As luck would have it my work is sending me there on that weekend. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
