The race will start behind the Mercedes-Benz Safety Car, it seems.

Kingshark replied to the forum topic Is Rosberg faster than Hamilton? in the group
F1 14 hours, 39 minutes agoAny opinions still shifting after today’s qualifying?
It’s a disgrace how underrated Rosberg’s speed has been throughout his career. People were actually considering Button to be faster than him. At this […]

I heard tomorrow’s race will start under a Mercedes Safety car driven by Trulli.

The turbulent air effect is much greater.
We saw last year Schumacher couldn’t pass Raikkonen ever when lapping almost 5 seconds/lap quicker.

@tophercheese21
The tyres are a normal part of the car, just like the aerodynamics.Teams compromise certain aspects of the car to improve others all the time, so why should this be any different.
That’s […]

Kingshark replied to the forum topic Is Rosberg faster than Hamilton? in the group
F1 1 day, 2 hours agoIf there’s one driver on the current grid who deserves at least one season in a championship winning car, it’s Rosberg. He’s clearly proven that he is a top driver, but has never had the machinery to fulfill […]

Kingshark commented on the post, Ferrari one-two in Spanish GP Driver of the Weekend 1 day, 19 hours ago
Rosberg should definitely have been #2 IMO, he was at least second best behind Alonso this weekend. As for Massa and Raikkonen, I’d have them tied in 3rd.

Not nearly as laughable as using Grosjean as a benchmark.

I know, I’ve always enjoyed tyre competitions, and watching different tyres compete among each other.
I remember that a part of the reason to why the 2003 Brazilian GP was so great was because of how different […]

Were Damon Hill, Jacques Villeneuve, and Mika Hakkinen the benchmarks from 1996-2000 because they shared all the titles within this period of time.
No, because there was a certain […]

Rosberg only lost to Webber in his rookie season, when he was 20. Even then, the difference wasn’t so big. Only 4 points to 7. Nico has improved a lot over the years, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was as fast […]

Kingshark replied to the forum topic How good could Emerson Fittipaldi have been? in the group
F1 2 days, 18 hours agoFittipaldi really did ruin his career by going with his brother to make an all-Brazilian team. Who knows how many titles he could’ve won had he stayed at McLaren, probably as many as Prost or Fangio (4-5).

Though Red Bull are leading both championships, let’s be honest, they’ve been very lucky. Alonso has finished every one of his three normal race he’s had at least 10 seconds ahead of Vettel. In Malaysia, […] -

I’m sorry Alonso, but were you watching the same season as the rest of us last year? The only races where Red Bull “had it easy” were the three races in a row which Vettel won (I’m deliberately discounting […]

2009 — Crash in qualy and lost a […] -

Don’t make me laugh. With that kind of pace and tire wear rate, you trying to play down Ferrari ‘s easiness on tire??? Look at onboard video, both massa and fernando drove superb aggressively and the tire managed […]

I don’t think this will be a weekend in which Ferrari win or Lotus due to the fact tyres hold much less of an influence now (yay!)
Are you confusing Ferrari with Lotus by any chance? Because they are not similar. […]
