Anybody has experience at the Stamford Grandstand? Just got my tickets and I’m on the first row of A2.
Hi Garns,
I have gone to Chinese Grand Prix & going for the Singapore GP (Bay grandstand) this year.
It’s my first time heading to the Japanese Grand Prix and definitely looking forward to it. Will be going to Turn 1 /Esses & Spoon on Fri. Unfortunately will be planning to miss Sat to make my wife happy visiting Nagoya sights & G2 stands for Sunday.
Although i’m a big Mclaren fan, will be equally happy if Kimi wins it for Lotus this weekend :)
Finally some F1 action after the summer break.
Definitely looking forward to the Japanese Grand Prix, 3rd GP this year.
Anybody else at G2 stands?

am definitely looking forward to it. also looking to how i can reach suzuka on friday in time for P1 as I’ve noticed it’s open to all grandstands except mains. going to try my luck at either the Esses or Turn 1.
I just came back from Shanghai GP and already can’t wait to go for the Japanese GP!

Can I check if the G2 stands actually has seats? I looked at the official suzuka ticketing page; it showed the actual viewing position and it was a patch of grass!
I went last year, sat B1-4 stands and had a very good view of Turns 1-2-3 & end of the pit straights. Remembered one of the Torro Rosso’s wheel coming off at the turns last year.
This year decided to go one up for Grandstand A-High, hopefully would catch a view of the podium as well. Also probably one of the most affordable pit straights stands on the calendar.
