    That track is farcical. Astounding that they’re racing round that

    Quite a dramatic image to see at an F1 demo!

    @JPedroCQF1 Thank you! I didn’t think it was Valsecchi but i know he’s been linked with the reserve role there.

    I’m probably being silly here but who is the other guy besides Grosjean and Boullier? Is it Valsecchi?

    Really interesting discussion, i totally missed the marshall waving the green flag just after turn 3. Vettel’s steering wheel was still in yellow flag mode though.

    I don’t think he should have got a penalty for that move with all things considered. Definitely interesting to see though and worth debating. Also good to see the full context of the Karthikeyan move as some were citing a very short video of it yesterday as evidence when it wasn’t clear cut but this shows it better

    @thespuditron Thanks. Would be too tight for me, go to church at 11.30am. Hope you all have a good season anyway! :)

    A lot of stories from Autosport get published here as well – http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/formula-1/archive/1.html

    Even when Senna had to pit early in Malaysia he made little progress up to the red flag as he was too far back. Come the restart he made loads of progress and most of it was through overtaking on the track so it was a genuinely great result

    Alonso on Webber at the restart into T1/2 was very opportunistic and nicely pulled off

    It was this guy who triggered the false alarm https://twitter.com/#!/mike09lfc

    I wasn’t online when it all started but it seems he’s deleted the tweet now. Weird how 1 tweet causes such a stir sometimes!

    @keithcollantine It was indeed! Must say it’s really pleasing to read the news. Only ever watched GP2 live when it was on ITV4 in 2008 so it’s an exciting prospect in store to have these extras on F1 weekends this year

    Sky says there’ll be an announcement about the support race coverage this week. Hopefully whatever they show will be on the F1 channel rather than say Sky Sports 3 or 4

    @superdelpinus Yes indeed!

    @KeithCollantine No worries! Thought there was some interesting unknown info. I thought they would be on-air for more hours but i suppose during the week would just be repeated content. I’m sure the times will be flexible around the race weekends (i.e Asia races or big breaking story post race)

    That table is confusing! But i think you’re right and then half a million for shared races with the BBC. Nothing official on support races but i get the feeling Sky will get GP2 based on the fact Eurosport don’t have the rights and there seem to be hints it was because of Sky and Brundle tweeted that Sky were looking into GP2 so reckon (and hope) they do show it, would add some value to the channel

    Some new details of Sky’s plans, including the hours the channel will be on air and what kind of ratings they are aiming for. Looks like the channel will launch on March 9th, a week before the Australian GP
