It’s suppose to impose a budget constraint on teams forcing them to use their expensive GB for at least 5 GPs. Personally, like @coop, I think it’s silly.

@coop it definitely will. The question is how much more/less grip you would have from it. I’m personally not a fan of teams changing tyres only on one axle.
