Tempted to vote for Massa for his brave, unnerving defence. Not sure how much it contributed to the gearbox breakdown but probably it did. Totally exhilarating to watch the DNF, the season ends in a high note for me.

Alonso. Rock-solid performance in a clearly inferior car.

3. At least McL didn’t win, and definitively lost the WCC. Could have been a 5 if both Webber and Alonso had left behind the McLs.
