    Go to waist? Chilton doesn’t look like he’s taken up any kind of diet.

    I thought it looked stunning without the bridge wing, and with the horns:

    I suppose the most exciting and unpredictable one was 2008 thanks to Renault.

    For Vettel, perhaps Abu Dhabi 2010. Huge pressure all season long, fighting a strong teammate and 3 world champions for the title, he pulled out an excellent pole lap, snatching it from Hamilton, and won to take the championship. China 2007, Italy 2008, Spain 2011, Monaco 2011, Belgium 2012, Japan 2012, Singapore 2013 and Hungary 2015 being other ones.

    Hamilton’s is probably Britain 2008, where he won by over a minute, and only 3 cars were on the lead lap. Massa had 5-6 spins that day. Otherwise there’s Japan 2007, Monaco 2008, Brazil 2009, Canada 2010, Germany 2011, Canada 2012, USA 2012.

    Alonso was impressive at Singapore 2010, holding off Vettel all race and getting a grand-chelem. Also Hungary 2003/14/15, San Marino 2005, Japan 2005, Europe 2012.

    Kimi- Japan 2005, Massa- Brazil 2008, Button- Canada 2011.

    I suppose one for Rosberg could be Korea 2010, where he looked like he could have been a contender for the win (he passed Hamilton’s Mclaren I think), and was closing on Alonso & Webber before being caught in Mark’s crash. More obvious examples are China 2010/11/12, and Monaco 2013.

    Hamilton at Germany ’07:

    Rosberg ’08, at the track he is now a 3 time winner:

    I liked this one, the 2 previous champions celebrating with the new champion:

    @xtwl

    Am I the only one that realizes what a difficult task this is, to catch every overtake or interesting bit live?

    No you are not. But replays of the incidents missed should be shown during the coverage.

    Hamilton got a lot of coverage partially because there was a battle for the lead between him, Rosberg, Bottas and Massa. We had the surprise of Williams leading, so it’s natural the cameras would focus on the quartet. The lead battle was the main point of interest for much of the race, including when Rosberg caught back up to Hamilton before the 2nd stops.

    The coverage though, could have been better, as there should have been more & better angles of the start crash, not to mention the cameras missing Raikonen’s spin altogether. It’s not even the first time we’ve not had proper footage- the camera angle of the start crash in Austria was poor, and we didn’t get footage from Alonso’s car. In Monaco, we never even saw the point where Sainz almost wiped out a Sauber at the chicane.

    @scottie -Ralf Schumacher was actually quite good in 1999, but saddled with a teammate that failed to score points for Williams, like Rosberg with Nakajima in 2009. Also Alonso & Spygate cost Mclaren even the constructors.
