David B commented on the post, On this day in 1982: Gilles Villeneuve killed at Zolder 1 year, 1 month ago
Still can’t understand why, among the enoromous progresses in terms of safety, they still didn’t nothing to avoid lifting of the cars by contact of wheels…In USA they did, in F1 not…

Well, good point…

Definitely couldn’t agree more.
Tyres compound is a secondary problem, first one is rules.
And managing tyre degradation absolutely is a skill manner for drivers. -
David B commented on the post, Which of Paul Ricard’s 167 tracks should F1 use? 1 year, 2 months ago
Absolutely 1A, the closest to the original. Full Mistral straight would be a peculiarity, and Signes bend the same. Verriere was very challenging at the time, don’t know now, but a slower chicane would jeopardize […]

It seems in Italy we think the same thing at the same time! :-D

Like a lot the livery.
But where are the sponsors? Not romantic, I know, but without money HRT has a short life ahead. Hope I’m wrong… -
David B commented on the post, Why ‘Mexico’s Interlagos’ would be perfect for F1 1 year, 4 months ago
I’m absolutely a fan of this track. The lay-out is unique, and isn’t only chicanes. Not to deny that Peraltada is the best attractive spot. I don’t see how they could make it feasible for current standards, but […]

I don’t want to raise suspicious but…why Force India was allowed to run the new car out of official test sessions? Were some demonstrative rounds allowed or is there some parts of the rule I’m not aware of?

David B commented on the post, Massa disagrees with penalty for Hamilton collision 1 year, 7 months ago
In my opinion Hamilton should have given up. Massa is ahead and can decide the line. I agree in this case Massa missed to leave enough space to Lewis, and he was stupid there, because knowing Lewis he probably […]

David B commented on the post, Two DRS zones for the Indian Grand Prix 1 year, 7 months ago
Absurd. I’m afraid we will see a lot ov easy overtakes in the straight, no beaking battles.
It seems to me that this year cars are much more easy to get followed, and so overtaking would be possible even without […] -
David B commented on the post, Neel Jani drives the first laps of India’s F1 track 1 year, 7 months ago
The lay out doesn’t seem boring.
Moreover, there are some interesting bends, with hard to find apex and interesting variation of altitude. It’s a pity there is also the typical “nonsense curves” as many […] -
David B commented on the post, New Jersey Grand Prix expected to be announced on Tuesday 1 year, 8 months ago
Spa-lenght option is great, but it seems to me there is a quick stretch of, say, a couple of miles. Absolutely difficult to accept for a street track, for safety reasons (well…even if at Korea they run a 1 km […]

Don’t worry, Mugello will never be there. The access road are so narrow…
Regarding this track it appears absolutely original: two quick series of flowing sectors with an uphill (or downhill?) hairpin on one […] -
David B commented on the post, Vettel expects Indian circuit to be second-fastest F1 track 1 year, 8 months ago
Didn’t expect it to be so quick. Let’s see. I’m very curious, and it looks promising. Too many elbow bends, in my opinion, but overtaking seems to be achievable. In my opinion the classic track where DRS is […]

Greate videos…
I would have liked to speake Japanese to understand everything. It is great when fans post their own footages: you really feel like being there, not only watching on TV, and noise is much more attractive!

David B commented on the post, Ferrari drivers want pit lane exit improvements 1 year, 8 months ago
Everytime I wonder why Mr. Tilke can work out this kind of problems!!! And he starts from a blank sheet, more or less, so why not creating a lay-out with safe pit exit and entry??? And they still let him design […]

David B commented on the post, Short DRS zone for Korean Grand Prix 1 year, 8 months ago
Agai on this topic. DRS is really cosmetics, and is not of real motor sport races…
FIA should find a way to make manufactureres design cars that are efficient enough also when slipstreaming.
In my opionion […] - Load More
