deanmachine replied to the forum topic New Porsche LMP1 breaks cover in the group
Endurance Racing 6 days, 5 hours agoIf I don’t see at least one car in the Martini livery, I’ll be massively disappointed, whatever the alternative is…
Unfortunately alcohol advertisement is banned in France, so not a good idea for a Le Mans car […]

First race where no driver who made their debut in the 1900s has started.

deanmachine commented on the post, Susie Wolff aiming for F1 superlicence after FW35 test 3 months, 4 weeks ago
I suppose the only way Spa is safer is that all the cars currently are in GT3 spec that run in the 24 hours rather than multi-classes like Le Mans. Thing is, there’s a lot less experienced drivers at Spa which to […]

That Lotus doesn’t actually look too bad on the track. The red is rather eye catching. Although I still prefer it without.

I don’t see why Force India would pick either of them two drivers. Personally I’d much rather Kovalainen driving my car.

deanmachine commented on the post, Hamilton: Vettel “luckiest driver in F1″ after podium 7 months, 2 weeks ago
The major thing about Vettel’s “luck” though is the fact he seems to have so much of it. And really, it isn’t luck at all. It’s lucky he’s ended up quite often with the best car, he’s lucky he’s so damn fast in […]

deanmachine commented on the post, Vettel sent to back of grid for qualifying infringement 7 months, 2 weeks ago
@bascb Yeah, well they accepted Red Bull’s excuse but probably waited for the Parc Ferme results to see if the car was legal in general. And if Seb was first back in I’m sure we would’ve heard about it sooner.

deanmachine commented on the post, Vettel sent to back of grid for qualifying infringement 7 months, 2 weeks ago
I think it’s just the fact that with Vettel stopping out on track the FIA had to test 23 cars before his in parc ferme. Something Ted Kravtiz mentioned in a video I watched on the Sky Sports website.

This got promoted by the Lotus F1 Team’s facebook, so I doubt it’s him moving or anything.

Personally I don’t see why Georgie Thompson isn’t the main presenter and Ant Davidson a full time pundit.

I agree 100%

I must admit I found myself watching the BBC live coverage when it’s available, the quality of programming it just vastly better, even when you consider Eddie Jordan.
Although strangely I prefer the Sky’s […] -

A “Lotus” has competed against all their incarnations, Toleman, Bennetton & Renault.

deanmachine commented on the post, Alonso wants more respect between drivers 1 year, 1 month ago
Yeah I’d agree with what @prisoner-monkeys said, I don’t think Ferrari would take a second look at many of the Italians nocking around the lower Formulas at the minute unfortunately.

deanmachine commented on the post, Alonso wants more respect between drivers 1 year, 1 month ago
Still don’t quite see it happening.

deanmachine commented on the post, Alonso wants more respect between drivers 1 year, 1 month ago
I suppose Paul di Resta is the closest thing to having an Italian in the second Ferrari seat at the minute.

deanmachine replied to the forum topic What is the benefit to Marlboro of sponsoring Ferrari? in the group
F1 1 year, 2 months agoI think there’s tobacco advertising in the middle east (unless I’m mistaken) and other parts of asia, so they can still use Ferrari to advertise their product, rather than the other way round.

deanmachine commented on the post, Lotus to keep name until 2017 despite losing title sponsorship 1 year, 2 months ago
Yeah, this maybe bad for the F1 team, but I’m more concerned about my favourite sports car manufacturer. They’re sponsoring just about every motorsport team in europe, as well as failing at being an IndyCar Engine […]

deanmachine commented on the post, Vote for your Malaysian Grand Prix driver of the weekend 1 year, 2 months ago
I know I should vote for Fernando, he was supreme all weekend, dragging that Ferrari to places it can’t go, he’s definitely one of the fastest drivers we’ll see for a long time. It was also great to see Bruno […]
