Watch this video, paying particular attention to apex speeds:

I thought respect and dignity were a worldwide things. But maybe that’s just my British view…….

If it was just engine power… all the Merc cars would be in front. It’s clearly everything.

Well balanced, plenty of downforce and of course a perfect PU.

Vettel say he is struggling with balnce mostly, so maybe that is one of Red Bulls shortfalls.

Some paragraphs would have really helped me read that! But interesting!

The merc is absolutely no slouch when it comes to downforce. But their big thing is their balance advantage through the better packaging of the engine, again important in the wet. Red Bull probably do have more overall downforce, but the Merc and Ferrari aren’t so far behind. You can usually tell by how much front downforce they are looking for as to how much overall downforce they have because front downforce is almost always to balance out the downforce they have at the rear

@mnmracer all I am saying is that if rosberg hadn’t given him the space and they had collided everybody would probably think it was a stupid move!

I have to say that as much as Vettels move was brave, he would not have made that stick without the co-operation of Rosberg. Had he pulled that move around many other drivers he would not be on the race track coming out of the corner. It is a brave move but not as good as many of you think IMHO.

I traded my copy in and felt like i was robbing the 20 quid i got for it when i did so. Complete heap of BS. Until they release a proper F1 sim, I’ll stick to gt5 and rfactor. F1 2011 is just far too arcady.

Perhaps you could work with your web developer keith to add buttons to your moderating side of things and when you delete these comments it send and automatic email to the user in question, that way you only ever have to write the email once! You could perhaps have a three strikes and out policy for pessitant serious offenders but make it all automated within your brilliant site, so you don’t have to spend as much time dealing with it.

Of course, not everything deserves a ban or warning, but if f1f automatically sent somebody an email explaining that their comment had been moderated and gave a spectrum of reasons why it may have been moderated, I think most would accept that.

Of course you’d get the occasional reply to these emails but not as many posts on the site going “where has my post gone?”.

This is what I’d do to both solve the issue of the car slinger corner and increase overtaking on the track:
