Any word/info on this? Am just reminded as an email message from the iTunes Store today telling me my auto-subscription for iPad is discontinued. There was correspondence from GPInternational at the time explaining that ‘subscribers will be contacted shortly with details of how subscriptions will be refunded’ but nothing has been communicated (or refunded) since.2nd December 2012, 9:55 at 9:55 am #217715
G’day Steve. Purely from the perspective of self booking versus a package, I’ve travelled from Australia to Singapore for the last four races as well as the USGP a few weeks ago. Both times booked flights, accommodation, race tickets, etc, directly rather than any third party. As alluded to by others, this offers me the most flexibility and options for airfares and race ticket prices and doing anything else on your visit.
Have fun! Kids will love it.18th November 2012, 15:06 at 3:06 pm #213016

Travelling from Australia and have booked a place through airbnb.com. Process smooth so far with a very communicative and helpful host and cost-wise, heaps better than the high hotel rates. In the order of AU$160/night (US$170/night, €130/night, £105/night).
Dealt with four potential ‘landlords’ and all were communicative and helpful.22nd September 2012, 15:34 at 3:34 pm #210552

Anyone like a good curry? Ripping place in Little India – Khansama. http://maps.google.com.au/?q=Khansama+Tandoori+Restaurant&cid=7471716468792523968
Thinking perhaps a meet up there tomorrow, Sunday, around noon? Will gauge interest before I head there.
What else is everyone up to/for?

Can’t believe it’s nearly that time again! Heading from AUS for the fourth time running and can’t wait. Travelling on my own also, so be great to meet up, have a beer (or more!) and perhaps even see some stuff. Arr late 20th, dep late 24th.
@clintonbristoluk went to Sentosa Is. in ’10. Not that much to rave about, but perhaps with a buddy be better.
I’m staying out of town at Novena and Little India (best Indian Restaurant that I’m equally excited about returning to!) and Chinatown are good places to hang about and see stuff that’s more than shopping malls!
Anyway, ping me if interested in any more info/details/catch-up.
Oh yeah, this year in Padang GS.
Good GA area could be the bleachers near gate 6, just after T13. Stood there during Fri practice and Carrera Cup last couple years. Good view of cars exiting turn and heading down Esplanade Dve.11th October 2011, 7:38 at 7:38 am #180506
