Alonso was just a few seconds ahead of him on track and was also on new inters….. The difference in the track would be maybe a tenth or two if anything. Not over a second. -

@driftin A good point; however, Hamilton is a phenomenon. Moreover, Alonso was new to the team and Ron Dennis’ empire never felt like the perfect environment for him, while Hamilton had grown up there.
