I suggest maybe sending an email, even if it’s some automated one you send out as a ‘Reprimand’ (Nice F1 themed one for you!).
That way, it’ll stop people arguing about why their comment got deleted etc.
I used to post in a pro-wrestling forum where I got reprimanded and kicked out numerous times for the most ridiculous reasons (anyone that knows me knows i’m not a ‘troll’ or offensive) and the place became a dictatorship (much to their own detriment).
It’s a fine balance, Keith, but I think warning via email followed by a ban if the behaviour continues is probably the fairest way of doing so.
The Senna on-board footage mysteriously disappeared, apparently. Well, the last few seconds of it, anyway. But yeah, I do see your point.
It’s not out of wanting to be grim or gruesome. I think as an F1 fan, you want to know what happened and atleast have a good theory as to why it happened. F1 changed after that weekend, and it’d be interesting to have some of the different views from the archives.
I’d also like some very early on-board material.
What about the radio messages as well? I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to hear some of the calls during battle… Can you imagine what Mansell and Senna were saying during their battle at Monaco?
