F1 Fanatic - Emma Brooks
I’ll be flying from Australia to attend this race, This will be my first time attending the Canadian GP. I try and attend a different race each year and I’m really looking forward to attending this particular race.
We got the silver 3 stand package if I remember correctly. Fri/Sat in the 2 different stands at the hairpin and then on race day we’re at Turn 1.
We’ve rented an apartment through Air BnB for 5 days and we’ll be road tripping from Washington. The apartment doesn’t have parking but I assume there will be on street parking or parking garages. We’ll be catching the metro each day to the track and we’re only a 10 minute walk into the main streets of Montreal so doubt we’ll even use the car that much :-)
I’ve just looked on the official web site and it says the Gold Trio is already sold out for next years race, I’ll buy Silver if I have to but we do like being opposite the pits and seeing the podium after each race we attend. I might try and call them when it’s their business hours and see if you can purchase the trio gold over the phone.
Does anyone know if you can run up the track after the race to watch the podium ?
We are flying Scoot from Australia. Friends have flown them and say they are fine.
We got the Turn 1 combo package so looking forward to that. Apparently Rihanna is about to be announced as the next big act. Has anyone been to this race before, Do the artists play while the cars on the track or before/after ?
I was getting excited because I thought the tickets were going to be on sale today but they said they’ve had a few issues so there is abit of a delay now.
I’m wanting to get Turn 1 combination tickets if I’m early enough as they say these tickets are limited.
Hi Dawn, Myself and my mother are traveliing from Australia and will be staying in Milan, We will be catching the train to the track on Fri/Sat/Sun if you want company to travel with or eat with afterwards
I can’t wait to attend Monza, We usually attend Melbourne but Monza is my fave race of the year so this year we will be attending our first international race. We will be sitting on the main straight in 26c so we are closer to the podium. We have got an apartment in Milan and I assume from what I’ve read the trains are quite frequent and will take around 30mins then we have have to walk roughly 30mins to get to the track, Im just excited to be there so the walk wont bother us :-)
I support Mclaren but would not mind at all if Alonso won cos would love to be surrounded by the Tifosi celebrating
