Maldonado on Verstappen purely for not crashing when many others would have.
@fixy It was a sad day for all, could you imagine a Minardi finishing on the podium? :(
What if Luca Badoer didn’t have a poor pitstop and his gearbox didn’t fail at Nurburgring. He would have likely finished 2nd in a Minardi :(
E is the way to go…not coke
Hmmm well I don’t know. 8 months in prison is what you get for stabbing someone or hate crime. I think it’s a bit OTT for a lads’ prank even if it was risky and a massive nuisance. A good dose of community service would have done, I’d have thought.
Community service wouldn’t be suitable in this case. His actions put himself, his passengers, the racers and Marshalls at risk, he could of very easily killed someone, having done marshalling before its very easy for someone to get hurt because of another persons actions. I wouldn’t think of doing this and his girlfriend was telling him not to do it but he carried on anyway.
New report on the incident. (Available to UK users only I believe) http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-30083726
Update on whats happened, possible prison sentence coming http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2788067/prankster-faces-jail-driving-vw-polo-o-track-brands-hatch-race.html
With 26 teams or so in play at an average cost per team of say £4,000, then he could be looking at £104,000 plus legal fees in compensation. That will wipe the smile of his stupid face for many years to come!”
Now that I would like to see.
Forgot about this one: Lewis Hamilton GP2 Nurburgring 2006
Senna Brazil 1993 – Overtaking in a yellow flag zone and Prost Germany 1993 – Shortcutting and Jan Magnussen in British F3 are the only other ones that come to mind
One of my favorite all time drive drives, if ever a driver deserved to win a race but didn’t this is it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNjB2oIv9cw
Still faster than a HRT
Not long enough. Now I think he’ll probably be unemployable in racing
