Dead on, @dimitris-1395 .
He stated his goal when he signed for McLaren. But 27 was way better than the 28 so far. But if any team can turn it around, it’s McL.

I think you’re all correct. But part of me also feels that McLaren don’t have a driver in their car to see what it can really do. Just a man’s opinion.

F1_Americana commented on the post, Alonso pledges to finish his F1 career at Ferrari 1 month, 1 week ago
Schumacher did finish at Ferrari. Then he started over again. :P I just can’t see Fernando going anywhere after Ferrari but possibly Merc or RBR; maybe with a sabbatical in between. And that’s dependent on if […]

If one driver “relaxes” while the other performs, then he has been outperformed. :) It’s why I’ll always hold drivers like Alonso and Schumacher in a much higher regard than Raikkonen. They never lose interest, […]

F1_Americana commented on the post, Alonso and Hamilton ‘would have done the same as Vettel’ – Horner 1 month, 3 weeks ago
100% agree with what your saying. No matter how exciting it may have been for fans, if it was not a fair fight (only one driver *knows* he’s racing, and is the only driver who has his engine at race mapping), […]

F1_Americana commented on the post, Alonso and Hamilton ‘would have done the same as Vettel’ – Horner 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Webber had his engine turned down. Vettel did not. *NOT* real racing. Simple.
The question is, and I don’t know if anyone knows the answer but RBR, but did Webber turn his engine back up to fight off Vettel […]

F1_Americana commented on the post, Hamilton: ‘Red Bull have a number one, we don’t’ 1 month, 4 weeks ago
There’s no way Mark Webber quits Red Bull mid-season. He’s not the kind of guy who’ll quit anything mid-way. It’s not in his DNA. He’ll have a good long think these 3 weeks, but he’s no quitter.

F1_Americana commented on the post, Hamilton: ‘Red Bull have a number one, we don’t’ 1 month, 4 weeks ago
Uh, because Schumi has retired, and the lower number generally goes to the driver who has been with the team longest. See McLaren 2013, Ferrari 2010, etc. When the team has an entirely new lineup, they usually […]

Yeah, me too! And as for “Android phones”, it really depends on your browser as to get to ‘find on page’. For example, the stock HTC browser vs. Dolphin Browser.

Can you pay tribute to another driver without taking “jibes” at others? I thinks so.

F1_Americana commented on the post, Hamilton: Alonso’s “the guy I want to beat” 2 months, 1 week ago
True fanatics of the sport don’t just look at number of world championships achieved when considering their ultimate ‘pecking order’. To do so would to be to say that Vettel is the equal of Senna, which many […]

LOL @spinmastermic. :D
It seems a lot of people are tired of hearing the mutual respect between Alonso and Hamilton, but I for one am not. I think they’re two great drivers with different skill sets, and with […]

…who drives a Lotus. :) Just wanted to point out that it’s impossible for something to hamper the team but not the driver who sits in the team’s car, even if it is Kimi Freakin’ Raikkonen. ;)

I know a lot of people love the looks of the Sauber. I do, too. It would make a nice desktop background in the large HD image. But on grey tarmac, it just sorta fades away. It doesn’t look all that great while […]

I went into this with a very open mind…
I took my love and hate for teams out of the equation, and looked only at body shape and livery. And I very much surprised myself by selecting Marussia. The orange […]

I’ve tried to explain the same situation in the same light many times since, but I couldn’t find the words @prisoner-monkeys has so eloquently come up with. Agree 100% with your explanation of that incident.
