If anyone would like to try a Greasemonkey version, install Greasemonkey into your browser, and message me for the URL of the trial version of the extension.
14th May 2018, 8:20 at 8:20 am #367542falkenParticipantThen refresh the page. Enabled now?
8th May 2018, 12:54 at 12:54 pm #366874falkenParticipantDo not press F12 till you have the live timing running in a window (ie after login to the f1 website and its showing sectors). Do not change tabs or windows.
Good news is you do this once and it appears to stick forever.
29th April 2018, 20:10 at 8:10 pm #366296falkenParticipantIn neither of your screens can I see the past of the ‘document….’ command, or what the page said after you did that and pressed enter.
I can only assume you are pasting the right thing but to the wrong place.
For avoiding of doubt, this should be in the very very bottom of the ‘console’
until you can get to the same point I link to in my screen shot I cannot help.28th April 2018, 19:25 at 7:25 pm #366114falkenParticipantCompare your screen shot to mine : in yours I do not see the pasted “document.cookie….” stuff in the very bottom of the “console” tab.
Please take a picture immediately after doing that and pressing enter.
28th April 2018, 12:03 at 12:03 pm #366009falkenParticipantThis should work in any browser on any operating system. You’ll still need to login and navigate to the timing page on f1.com.
If F12 does not work to open the console, try right clicking and choosing “inspect”.
You may get a warning about “scam warning”; the code only changes ‘cookies’ saved (and not checked) by the F1 site.

Would people be happier with an extension, that would only work for FireFox and Chrome users ?
24th May 2015, 12:03 at 12:03 pm #298912falkenParticipantYup, it’s certainly better.
10th May 2015, 15:16 at 3:16 pm #298085falkenParticipantAnd another thing caused by paginated rather infinite scroll – sometimes when you post it reloads to a new page and the only comment you can see is yours.
Just install Discourse and be done with it :-)
10th May 2015, 12:00 at 12:00 pm #298079falkenParticipantOh, and the top header size could be reduced, but that might be an issue because it’s the same site-wide.
10th May 2015, 11:51 at 11:51 am #298078falkenParticipantAuto-scrolling when I post is a pain. I’ve got the page just how I like it (header off the top, comment box at the top) so I can post and also so a chunk of the conversation. Please stop moving things around without asking when I press ‘post’ :-)
Also, for the first few posts, ‘report’ is under ‘reply’ not along side, but this seems to have gone away.
I’d also like a wider layout, rather than empty side bars, but that’s more of a pet bug bear about many a ‘modern’ web site.
22nd October 2011, 16:25 at 4:25 pm #180922falkenParticipantWe’ve used grandstandmotorsports.co.uk for tickets, travel and hotel’s for Spa (where they were happy for us to drive in some days) and twice at Silverstone, and will be using them again next year (2012) for Monaco.
Reasonable prices, excellent service over email and the phone, and nice people in the hotels afterwards.
