@fer-no65 Silverstone 2011 holds little parallels: that was a deliberate attempt at capping Red Bull’s advantage by prohibiting a technology they had maximised. This is changing something which is exactly the same […]

F1 6 days agoOver fifty million very unhappy customers, at that. Claro’s service is beyond rubbish.
The same can be said of Vodafone, so nothing really changes for McLaren.
I have noticed that in the time since […]

Pretty much that, yes @fer-no65. Teams will almost always try and eke out one stop less (that’s why Schumacher winning with 4, or even Ferrari going for 4 in Barcelona was a bit special, its opposite thinking).

@fer-no65 You’re right. I have a feeling that these hasty mid-season rule changes will turn the championship battle on it’s head. Wholesale changes mid-season, I feel, is bad. We are only speaking about the top […]

I am starting to appriciate just how difficult a situation Pirelli are in. I am against the current tyres and their over emphasis on conservative driving; however I am equally against making serious […]

@fer-no65 true, but as a fan I hate these tyres because nobody is racing! Even if it were Red Bull dominating currently, I’d still hate these tyres. 4 stops is too much…

Prisoner Monkeys commented on the post, New car and new races for GP3′s fourth season 2 weeks ago
@fer-no65 – The organisers wanted the cars to be closer to the GP2 Series cars to ease the transition from GP3 to GP2. They noticed that drivers are having to commit to two-year programmes in GP2, which means that […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, DRS and tyres: Has F1 got the balance right? 2 weeks, 3 days ago
@fer-no65 I think the opening races (where we had the telemetry problem) would’ve been a prefect test bed for trying a race with Pirelli tyres and no DRS but it seems the FIA have their heads stuck firmly in the […]

@fer-no65 That is impressive. Question is, is it impressive enough? The Red Bull-Vettel partnership has won 21 races from 2010-2012. The Schumacher-Ferrari partnership won 24 races in 2000, 2001, and 2003 (it’s 3 […]

I agree with most of what you said. But 2000 and 2003 were brilliant in my book. There were some absolute all-time classics in 2000: Spa, Hockenheim, Italy, Suzuka. And in 2003: Brazil, Austria […]
