Completed the MPR requirements and I’m about to step on B License! Yay ! :P not that it means much, since I’m going to do just the Skippy and the Ruf next season, but still !
Also broke into the 2000′s iRating points. Going well so far !19th September 2014, 1:24 at 1:24 am #27501017th September 2014, 3:09 at 3:09 am #274833
@george That’s some racing, mate !
I’m watching, and you’re still 4th. Tight pack ahead !
I absolutely loved racing at Zandvoort last week, it was amaizing how close we all were considering how long the track is and how many very fast corners there are.
PD: you ran some laps at my pace! :P odd!13th September 2014, 15:30 at 3:30 pm #274548
I’m now watching the race (it’s full on youtube). What’s the deal with the background music? it’s not even up Need for Speed standards!
EDIT: Ey ! this is nice racing !13th September 2014, 15:00 at 3:00 pm #274544
The time zone didn’t do any favours for me so I couldn’t watch it. Too bad it was on friday’s night, basically, I was exhausted.
But I’ve just seen Prost’s move. God, what an awful one ! and what a nasty crash!12th September 2014, 1:03 at 1:03 am #274388
Aaaaand what if we team up on an Aston now :D?11th September 2014, 0:26 at 12:26 am #274295
I’ve never done anything more than 25 minutes on iRacing, so it will be very challenging for me. Switching off to the “safer” braking points, saving tyres and the lot. But if we go step by step, I’m sure it could work.
I’d be amaizing to do a very long race together. 12 hours I suppose doing a couple of stints each, must be epic.
@george yeah ! I’m loving the Skippy ! did 3 races at Zandvoort. My very first one with not so much practice, I got up to speed really quickly and managed to finish 6th, spin off included. A couple of hours ago, I finished 3rd. Very fun to control that thing!10th September 2014, 16:45 at 4:45 pm #27426210th September 2014, 9:26 at 9:26 am #274172

LOL considering what happened with Marussia the other day, I’d keep quiet about that :P2nd September 2014, 4:27 at 4:27 am #273067
@george I decided to keep doing what I’ve been doing so far and got the tracks that appear the most in the series I’m planning to race. I got Silverstone (old one but if they release the new one I’ll get a discount, surely), Oulton Park (love it), Zandvoort and Brands Hatch (mistake… I should’ve got Spa).
I then added the Skyppy and the Ruf. Already tried the Ruf at Mid Ohio (this week’s race) and god it’s a wonderful car to drive ! so tricky and loose at the back, but joyful !
Next step is defo getting those 4 you mention! I already have highlighted them in my Excel spreadsheet :)
Thanks for the help, mate !2nd September 2014, 2:50 at 2:50 am #273065
The team I miss the most, by a long, a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way is Minardi. Best. Team. Ever. Period.
Jordan (cool yellow liveries were always nice to see…)
Ligier (French blue and so much history)
Old Lotus (dah… obviously)
Arrows (yeah! even the name was cool)

I JUST FINISHED 2ND AT COTA !!!!!!! YAY !
Most difficult thing I’ve done so far in iRacing. Consistency is extremely tricky here ! those yellow tortoise-like kerbs on the fast bits, and the lose back end in the slower bits make up an imposible track to lap comfortably, for me at least.
I’m now leading my division :O !
