I know there is very little chance that they will change the calendar but in an ideal world I aould love to see the 1000th race happen at Silverstone, the host of the 1st race. Maybe they could bring out some of the cars that ran in 1950 and have them do some laps alongside the modern cars. Fingers crossed that they might still do something like this regardless of what circuit the 1000th race actually happens at.

More seriously ask them who their favourite non-F1 driver and team is.18th May 2017, 11:05 at 11:05 am #342534FJBH10ParticipantYeah deck chairs are a must, know what corner you’re gonna try and get to, get in early and get a spot for the chairs. If you’re going to the toilet or to get some food make sure someone stays with the chairs to make sure no-one moves them.
23rd January 2017, 15:09 at 3:09 pm #334409FJBH10ParticipantWhat about are they all tracks that had controversial unsafe pit entrances that were then modified?
23rd January 2017, 13:35 at 1:35 pm #334405FJBH10ParticipantA bit of a random guess but are they all tracks that have had their pit-lanes moved or modified?

6th October 2016, 16:35 at 4:35 pm #329941FJBH10ParticipantI might try the Assetto Corsa one, looks pretty good. Would be cool if F1 2017 had proper ERS controls, maybe instead of rich and lean etc we could have different deployment modes and a battery level that slowly regenerated that we had to manage and balance through the race.
9th September 2016, 13:17 at 1:17 pm #328188FJBH10ParticipantSo Brawn won the championship without KERS? Did the KERS cars run the double-diffuser too?
8th September 2016, 16:36 at 4:36 pm #328168FJBH10ParticipantOk, that’s interesting. From what I’ve read the KERS cars were not initially as fast as the normal cars but then as the technology was developed they were eventually faster right? Were there any teams that tried KERS and then abandoned it or started the season with it only to drop it? I only really started watching F1 in 2011 so I don’t know much about the ’09 season.
8th September 2016, 10:43 at 10:43 am #328158FJBH10ParticipantOk, thanks.
14th April 2016, 16:20 at 4:20 pm #317605FJBH10ParticipantThank you very much Mathers. This has saved me a great deal of work!
27th January 2016, 10:42 at 10:42 am #311841FJBH10ParticipantSo the Friday ticket is free with the Sunday one?
I will probably call them as well.
27th January 2016, 9:41 at 9:41 am #311837FJBH10ParticipantOn the Silverstone website it says that the General Admission ticket includes “Roving on Friday”. Does this mean I have a generic non-grandstand ticket for the friday practices etc? I go to the UTC anyway and so have the friday off and was thinking about buying friday tickets separately from my Sunday tickets but I want to be sure what they mean before I do anything.
19th December 2015, 22:09 at 10:09 pm #310705FJBH10ParticipantUnfortunately I can’t fetch the £40 due to Christmas etc so you can have them Alfie. It would save Neil the hassle with postage too. Also as Kesioglou said earlier its great that you’re not just throwing them away, it is a great example of the F1 community and so-on!
19th December 2015, 0:27 at 12:27 am #310698FJBH10ParticipantI don’t know if I can fetch the £40 for the postage. Will see what I can do but if I cannot or the packaing issue gets too inconvenient you can have them Alfie. I should be able to decide for sure some time this weekend so please bear with me.
P.S ignore the fact I am posting this at midnight!
