The Skip is fantastic now since the new-new tyre model. I’ve really been enjoying that at Okayama this week. Also the NTM Star Mazda (renault 3.5 equiv) is great fun at Silverstone. Long 45min races though!
He stopped because the team told him to. He’d used more petrol than expected and had to have enough in the tank to hit the minimum post-race weight requirement + allow the FIA to take their fuel sample.

Webber only had a car able to take him to the championship in one of his ten years in the sport. Plus he was battling his own team most of the way.
Aww, and to think I moved the PS3 up to my PC to plug it in to my monitor and G25… That’s OK, I would have creamed you all on Inter Lagos anyway – it’s one of my favs!
I got 4 warnings for illegal blocking. 3 of the times I was off the track letting others past. Online warnings are a joke in this game.
Mind you, I did manage to achieve the ‘true gent’ trophy (“You completed a multiplayer race without making contact with an opponent”) in my first race. :)
This just in from the paddock – as yet unnamed team set to give rookie driver first race at Suzuka. More details as they come to hand.

Coming in from rFactor (and I suppose F1 2010), I made the mistake of ‘learning’ Laguna and the Glen in the FW31. THEN I tried the MX-5 and I struggled big time!
I’ve now started Lime Rock properly, in the MX-5 Roadster and my car control is much better. Whereas the F1 is all about perfect lines, the Roadsters help you learn to feel the track and understand the tyres (and how much you can push them). My best time is now (I believe) just under 1:00.900 which puts me mid-pack in an online practice session however I’m not sure where the top racers (58 second laps!) are getting their time from…
Don’t be afraid to spectate the fast racers to pick up tips and lines!
