So just watched the race and count me hooked! The racing was genuinely good (except for Prost vs Heidfeld) and the pit stops weren’t as dramatic as I thought they would be, the guys at eDams nailed them.
The cars looked slow, because they are slow… 165 km/h was the maximum I spotted out there, that’s what you get when you only have 150 kw compared to the 200 kw for Qualifying but give it some time and they will improve the speed, especially when the series moves away from being a spec series but for now they will remain slow on the straights but the cornering speeds were pleasantly high.
The music bugged me out to but I’ve read on twitter that ITV4 has confirmed it was an issue with the world feed?5th September 2014, 23:10 at 11:10 pm #273586
Good I have been waiting for another bomb to throw open this championship. Doesn’t look good for Palmer if he loses the championship despite having once a massive lead.
Look what it did to Stefano Coletti, he went from being a hero to become a bit of a laughing stock.
This is the chance for Stoffel to show McLaren they need to get him in F1.
Go Stoffel!28th August 2014, 19:24 at 7:24 pm #272549
Have no idea where they are going with this but I have to say great job by them to involve the fans.
If only Bernie/FOM could understand the value of social media….21st August 2014, 8:30 at 8:30 am #270744
Hot rumour coming from Italian media: Sebastian Vettel has signed a contract with McLaren for 2015.
Problem is that while creating a buzz on Twitter, no one seems to be able to provide a link to the Italian media reporting this…3rd August 2014, 18:40 at 6:40 pm #269444
This decision is stupidity of the highest degree, F1 is going soft on penalties but in F3 the repression is taking on weird forms.14th May 2014, 8:37 at 8:37 am #26015713th May 2014, 19:12 at 7:12 pm #260279
@bradley13 Definitely a contender for me (always liked Alguersuari and was impressed by Bird in GP2 last year) but I’m going to wait and see who the other teams are going to choose before settling on Virgin Racing :-)13th May 2014, 10:11 at 10:11 am #260164
So Alguersuari and Bird will be racing for Virgin Racing1st May 2014, 18:38 at 6:38 pm #258612
For an starting up team his experience could come in handy, he could also prove useful political wise because he knows the complexities of them. Not sure is interested in a job for Haas though.14th April 2014, 9:59 at 9:59 am #256864

Incident between Tom Coronel and Mehdi Bennani at the start, you can see clearly form Bennani’s onboard footage he just kept pushing him until he crashed.
Can’t believe the stewards only handed out a DT for this.
Agree with @bradley13 that a lot of things today are just not acceptable for an FIA event.8th April 2014, 20:20 at 8:20 pm #256039
Do hope they can finish the season and find a byer, I would hate to see them go.7th April 2014, 19:47 at 7:47 pm #2559514th April 2014, 19:18 at 7:18 pm #255355
Yeah Agreed without that mistake the McLaren rookie would certainly have taken pole, still +0.030 of Palmers time and P2 is far from bad in your first outing.
Time to put that long run pace to work tomorrow.
At least proud to be Flemish today!30th March 2014, 20:32 at 8:32 pm #254818
I guess Ricciardo vs Alonso and Vettel at the start was a nice move but I was also more impressed by Alonso and the Hulk. Great battle with respect for each other but fairly straightforward. Bahrain needs to be better though.
