@funkyf1 Rosberg was saying on turn in his right rear (I think) was almost coming of the ground, so possibly an anti-roll bar as you’ve said or one of my immediate suspicions something to do with the hydraulic […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Grosjean: Budget a priority for Lotus 1 month, 3 weeks ago
@funkyf1 – I don’t see any contradictions, please highlight? I said he knew what he was doing, but was sorry for purely the reason his team didn’t take to it well at all. Also, I did mention the fact there’s PR […]

Not really much explanation really though @funkyf1, apart from possibly why Mark didn’t fight until flag but hung back after overtake. But doesn’t realistically seem that much to add, as we won’t be privy to their […]

Prisoner Monkeys commented on the post, Why Mark Webber’s next move may be from Casey Stoner’s playbook 1 month, 3 weeks ago
@funkyf1 – That’s as may be, but I don’t think you can necessarily take the drivers’ word for it.
We’ve seen it before with wet races. When the cars are behind the safety car, you’ll get some drivers claiming […]

(@funkyf1) If I witnessed Vettel replace Massa at Ferrari and beat Alonso with a slightly inferior car to the front of the field, I will happily revise and take back everything I’ve said about Vettel. But until then…

@funkyf1 – for the reasons proesterchen has said below. You can’t eliminate all the danger from motorsport – you’d make it boring. Absolutely make the cars and tracks as safe as possible but if the FIA really […]

@funkyf1 – driver error, how exactly is that inherently dangerous? That is why I don’t agree that unlimited DRS use is dangerous.

Sure, there will be many parts that will be different before the car gets to Melbourne @funkyf1, but I doubt the pull rod front suspension, or the nosecone/vanity panel have all been made just to show them at the […]

Max Jacobson commented on the post, Ferrari cautious over F138 but still targetting title 3 months, 3 weeks ago
@funkyf1 – that’s a pretty accurate description I’d say! ;) It looked like it was designed by making the car magnetic and driving it through a scrap heap, then simply they replaced the metal with carbon fibre!
