Just received email from bookf1 that our tickets (2 weekend-general-admission) were dispatched and should arrive on Thursday.
Got an apartment near the Basilica and from past experience it’s a good location in Budapest.
The only scary part is traveling to the circuit really because everyone’s complaining about the walk from the bus stop to the gates.
We’ll be heading on Thursday as well.According to Monza’s official website “Pre sale will begin December 3rd” (first/second picture on the right)
I have heard a lot of complaints about GFWL but never encountered any myself (if i did, they were from my connection in the first place!). Steam is a little bit problematic when it comes to offline gaming, as it requires to be connected in the first place in order to activate the offline mode. Also, Steam supports a lot of other famous games such as TF2, CS, Half-life, Portal and the likes and when their servers are down – F1 will be down too!
I’m not surprised considering they (or sub-studios) developed three Formula 1 games this year: The Online Game, F1 2012 and Race Stars.
@dimitris-1395 That’s a little bit late summer 2013, isn’t it? Surely they have a pre-sale around January or so..
I was supposed to be there 3 weeks ago but plans got cancelled. Definitely going next year. How long is the trip from Milan to the race track? Also, anybody knows when do they start selling tickets?

In other posts around the group, @andrewtanner was nice enough to post his experience from his trip to Monza last year, and he did actually say the parabolica is a great place to stay at.
My father and me are going this year too, but not as a “last trip before uni”. If all goes to plan, maybe we’ll meet somewhere :)@Mike glad to see another PC player! i’m on steam geo13291 or gfwl geo132 . be in touch maybe we can work something around sometime soon!
Whether slipstream actually works. A friend on twitter and myself noticed that when you line up behind a car, the car in front goes quicker than you!

i agree with what Pinball – roadography.com said. the game is addicting!
i got it on pc though, playing with keyboard – waiting for wheel to arrive on monday!
i started off with ForceIndia. 20% length. all aids are off (soo hard not to spin off when exiting the corners). signed for 3 years.
surprisingly i put a very good lap in Sakhir- 2:00.167 ~ got on pole!
its a bit annoying how the pitstops take so much time, considering they only put tyres but that just adds more challenge to the game which is good..
so far, i can’t understand what was all the bad fuss about!
I’m in the same situation as you are Steph, student with pretty much low budget, especially to waste on gaming!
Did anyone try F12010 with G25 on pc? How does it feel?
