Pirelli used soft and medium in last year’s race however this year they’ve gone for medium and hard.

True that! But the teams can utilize the practice sessions to gain as much feedback as then can from the 2013 Pirelli tyres. Nice move by Pirelli to give the drivers a feel of next year’s tyres.

Unfortunately the data from dry sessions is not of much use if it is going to be wet GP.

This is such a shocking development. The sport’s gonna miss all those fierce battles and overtakes!!!

A dry qualy followed by a wet race is what can push things to the limit as this will force the teams to rethink on their strategies and the car set-ups. The stage is set at Interlogas for the best season finale since 2008.
