@hari That’s just PR and expectations management. Look how Alonso did in his first year at Ferrari. Nothing less than the same standard should be expected from Hamilton at Mercedes.

I guess this is either due to Pirelli’s conservative tyre choice or the cars naturally becoming slower due to the rule changes.

@hari yet that could be seen as an unfair advantage as Ferrari and RedBull have to concentrate on this race while the others can have a nice taste of new tyres. Even if I don’t think it can makes a huge difference […]
