To get started off on the right foot, I have to admit that I don’t have log book of all the results of the F1 seasons since 1968 when I first started watching, all I usually do is watch the races so don’t flip me off about statistics.

BUT, I’d really like to know if anyone has a clue as to why Mark Webber has gotten the shaft from his team’s engineers regarding getting off of the starting grid. I mean, if the differential settings and clutch release points are specified, how tough can it be for the driver to nail the throttle and match Vettle’s or anyone else’s performance?

Webber is no slouch, he’s better than anyone below 2nd place, and he can out-pass Vettle (at least w/o wrecking him) and works his way up through the field nicely in spite of getting a lousy start.

So, why is Mark’s side of the team failing to give him equivalent equipment race after race after race? I mean, this has been going on for too long to just blame it on the driver.
