I laughed at this video Keith linked. Apparently it shows a violent crackdown, yet watching it you dont actually see police doing anything but walking around. http://www.channel4.com/news/smuggled-footage-of-bahrain-crackdown
The worst you see is some play acting where they carry a guy away and show a guy huffing and puffing. None of it can be verified.
The women in the video is well educated and is most likely a political agent.
I dont like seeing media getting involved these days because all the well known media houses like the state controlled BBC, or the US controlled CNN etc, are deeply corrupt and influenced by their governments. They are effectively propaganda farms. We have seen how effective those outlets are at swinging opinion. Its not what they say, its how they say it. They have become an effective political tool and have effectively brought down governments, such as Libya and now Syria. Allowing those corrupt media houses into Bahrain probably would have done nothing positive for the Bahrain government because even if all was well within the country, the media would have reported otherwise.
I used to support revolutions against what was presented to me as unfair governments, but since the Libyan joke, I just cant stand it. They took a country that was doing incredibly well for itself and left it in ruins. It used to be a third would country with first world infrastructure, but since the bombing it is now ruled by terrorist fragments and is nothing but a pile of rubbish. All because they did not want to trade in the dollar (they wanted to use gold as a currency) and because they found oil and did not hand it over to western oil companies.
Something needs to be done about those torro-rosso’s…
Ironic that people make a noise about Massa letting his teammate past, yet when an entirely separate team is instructed (illegally and obviously behind closed doors prior to the race/season) to let Vettel by it is just accepted.
It is completely unacceptable. If they want to allow B-teams, they must also allow third drivers.

The guy is constantly brining up his past as if he was the driver of his era. Meanwhile he was a trash driver who never amounted to anything.
He’s so full of himself and it really just gets to me.
I like Ferrari because they are a family and they are the last team with passion. Mclaren for instance is just a corporate PR circus. You dont see Ferrari drivers taking pictures with their sponsored cellphones in every shot, like you do with Lewis or Jenson. They are there to win, not sell phones.
I also like them because:
• They dont play the PR game. They say what they feel, even if the media tear them apart for it.
• They are the only drivers on the grid who look manly, strong like a bear (ok I’ll include Petrov in there as well). The rest of the drivers are trimmed and dressed up like models.
• They dont do PR stunts. Posing for a camera while you take picture with your camera phone (lewis) really has nothing to do with driving fast, and so I dont want my drivers to do it.
• They are not afraid to play the team game. No driver is above the team. They are team members, all of them. They win and lose together.
• They have a defined second driver. I like it when a team has the guts to come out with it, instead of pretending otherwise (lying to the fans).
• They have a great history.
• They are picked on by the press and portrayed as the enemy of the state. I support them because its not the popular thing to do.
• I enjoy the comradeship between fellow Ferrari supporters. Ferrari supporters are unique because we dont throw our toys out the cot every time something goes wrong. We dont call for our team principle to be axed when we dont win.
• Our drivers are not robots. They say things and act like humans with real emotions. The other top drivers are pre-scripted AI compared to Ferrari drivers. Lewis on the Radio is childsplay compared to Fernando.
• Fernando has a pure passion for racing and winning. It shows the most when he gets upset.
I expect much flame from this post :)
What would you expect considering the country they were racing in. The UK fans see Alonso as the number one enemy in F1. That and they are very, very sad people.

Maybe I’m a genius, but why not simply add the option to turn off the safety car? Keep it off by default, but give the option to turn it on.
Not that the casual guys would even notice the safety car while they knock all the AI out of the way.
You will probably find he wants to be a part of the F1 community and working for the BBC provides him with the perfect excuse to hand about. I doubt he does it for money, maybe for fame, but mostly for himself. So if he decides to skip a race, the BBC have no grounds to reprimand him as they need him more than he needs them.
