Let’s put little flashing boxes in strategically designated areas out on the track so that drivers can be rewarded with cheeky banana skins or perhaps red turtle shells to fire at opponents?

You definitely have an big international reach Keith!

What I have altered is the colour of the red stripe that runs down from each sidepod along to the tip of the nose to blue, then I altered the sidepod’s themselves to be blue and merge with that stripe on either side (this bit needs work). I plan to add a second lighter shade of blue after looking at some non-f1 Telmex liveries.
I second Jarred’s comment above about your design Kirk, I like it a lot.

Any ideas for how I could add to it?
17th November 2010, 14:27 at 2:27 pm #151512invokeParticipantNow that the 2010 season is over and the teams prepare their 2011 car designs, I wondered if the F1Fanatic community could come up with any liveries of their own for next season. So get out your favourite graphics program, and post your images here!
To start things off, Team Lotus/Lotus Racing/1 Malaysia or whoever have announced they will be switching to the other classic Lotus livery. As this happens to be a personal favourite I thought I would do a quick edit of their current car in those old school colours:

He did indeed, there were a few template pics uploaded at the time, this page looks like a simple test post.

25th September 2010, 8:12 at 8:12 am #144636invokeParticipantHaving owned both the Driving Force Pro (DFP) and G25, I can say they are both fantastic wheels. But to spend £150 on a G25 just for F1 2010 seems a little excessive. If you just want it for pretty much this game alone, see if you can find a cheap DFP, you should be able to pick one up for <£60, it has no clutch or H pattern shifter, just paddle and a sequential stick, but this is not an issue with an F1 car and the force feedback (while not as good as the G25 is still fantastic. Saying all that however, if you do splash out on a G25/G27 and use all the features, you won’t be disappointed. I really wish I had not sold mine!
