    50% is better if you want more variety in pit strategy.

    In 20% most drivers don’t pit at all in wet races and in dry races only do one stop. 50% will test your tyre management to the max because some races require 4 stops (for an aggressive setup). Hungary in particular saw me doing 5 stops while Massa did 2. I still finished ahead of him though. :D

    One thing is that the legend mode is easy for me. Though again this is cos I used full TC. Any tips on how to drive with TC disabled? cos I am very very bad without it. ):

    I play with PC so another weakness is that I cannot have half throttle, only full throttle or throttle off. this is cos there is no joystick compared to PS3 etc. This probably increased my frequency of spinning with no TC.

    I started with Force India replacing Di Resta. In the first race I qualified 9th and instantly got up to 2nd on lap 1. Stayed the same for majority of the race (50%) until my last pitstop when I realised that my pitcrew put me on heavily worn tyres! Still running 3rd, but with 8 laps to go, my tyres ‘dropped off the cliff’. I lapped slower and slower by 2s each lap, but still managed to hold most of the drivers behind me, causing a traffic jam. I finished in 10th, but with the winner 90s ahead of me.

    In my opinion, the AI are not aggressive enough when it comes to overtaking. And again, some penalties are too harsh, though computer games cannot have the real-time decision-making brains of F1 stewards.

    13 races on and I won 7 races and 10 podiums. Most of my non-wins are due to crashing, penalties, though Canada and Spa I lacked the pace. I must embarrassingly admit that I used full traction control which probably helped me a lot. I tried medium traction control and instantly I kept spinning at corners and the feeling is terrible (with full TC i cld glide thru the corners beautifully like a real F1 driver). Though i think i do have a lot to learn!

    Still an amazing game with realistic tracks/handling. One strange thing is that in Singapore you mysteriously can go 15s faster than in reality, though on other tracks the max is usually 5-7s faster. Any explanations on that?
