Kimi and Ferrari proved that you can go flat out with the current crop of tyres
Did you watch the race @jamesf1 ? They weren’t going flat out. they manage the tyres better, but when the performance went down, […]

It’s both and I support it. 82 pit stops in a race? That’s crazy. When too much overtaking doesn’t mean racing, something is wrong.

@jamesf1, what’s exciting about a tyre that’s glued to the road, but only for 2-3 laps.

@jamesf1 the stress on those tyres is so much higher at China or Bahrain (specially with the heat) than at Monaco, tho.

@jamesf1
Do you really believe that Webber was running on decreased power once Vettel caught him? It certainly didn’t come as a surprise. Nor does it take a long time to press a few buttons.
If Webber was […] -

@jamesf1 I’m pretty sure you’re referring to my stat..I know it is an unnecessary addition. However, I had several other stats in mind, which the likes of @keithcollantine and @andae23 referred to.

It must be due to the fact that Maldonado and Ricciardo actually competed in the race yet retired, otherwise I don’t understand that either @jamesf1.

I certainly think he was the most promising rookie in GP2 this year. Though […]

@jamesf1 You can’t do GP2 and Formula One in the same weekend, there’s a rule about it. One of the reasons for the increasing popularity of FR 3.5.

@jamesf1 No they haven’t – Pastor Maldonado is the last driver to start a Grand Prix from pole position in a Williams:
But they did drop the one before that (Nico Hulkenberg, of course).

@jamesf1 Thiessen didn’t say this is Vettel’s era. The quote is “Vettel has a good chance to become one of those heroes who really dominated”. You are disputing something he didn’t actually say.

@jamesf1 I don’t think he would be hoping for rain. Two reasons for that:
1. Vettel is a good driver in wet conditions and he would qualify in the top 3 today unless something dramatic happens!
2. In cooler […] -

@jamesf1 I don’t agree, and not just because I think the idea of teams “sandbagging” is usually not the case – they’re too busy trying to find out how fast their car can go to disguise how quick it is, […]
