The FIA has introduced new restrictions on the use of visor tear-off strips by drivers but has stopped short of banning them from being dropped outside the car.
From this weekend drivers will be prevented from […]

As a marshal do you feel double waved yellows are not valued or respected highly enough by drivers? It is the most (for want of a better word) explicit way of informing the drivers of danger that flag marshals on […]

@robbie I’m not disputing that, I’m disputing the claim he “ignored” them.

@marciare-o-marcire I don’t see any reason to give credence to that article and you haven’t offered one. Just because something confirms your suspicions doesn’t make it credible.
Daniel Ricciardo completed a successful day of running with Renault’s upgraded power unit by heading an eventful second practice session.
The Red Bull driver lapped over six-tenths of a second quicker than […]

@glacierre I think Jules ignored double yellows He did not ignore them according to the FIA. Their report stated he “did not slow sufficiently” for the yellow flags, not that he did not slow at all.

@marciare-o-marcire I’ve never heard of CrossMap and I’ve never heard of this article’s author. Any reason why we should believe these people, who clearly think news relating to an athlete’s death should be […]

This isn’t what Jules would have wanted.
We don’t know what he would have wanted because he very sadly is no longer around to tell us.
But before we got to this point perhaps other things have happened which h […]

The material I’ve received from their lawyers only mentions that the action is being brought against three parties, one of which is Marussia.
However recall the following in the FIA’s report summary:
Lewis Hamilton was quickest in first practice for the Monaco Grand Prix as lap times fell by over three seconds compared to last year.
However the opening session at the Monte-Carlo circuit was cut short with […]
The family of Jules Bianchi is bringing a lawsuit in England against the Formula One Group, the FIA and the late driver’s former team Marussia.

Ricciardo probably needs to give it up though and show a bit more grace in defeat
Nothing about his attitude since the race has struck me as ungracious.
I don’t wholly agree with the COTD . Yes it’s a courageous decision but for me this kills Monza. Monza had many a processional race throughout the years. Not very enjoyable at least on TV. It has 2 overtaking […]
