@optimaximal you’ve got to install an adblocker like @braketurnaccelerate has! (of course turn it off though for f1fanatic.co.uk so @keithcollantine can pay for the server!! :)
Trying to insert the screen shot here…

led to:
http://web.archive.org/web/20131214075713/http://www1.skysports.com/opt/docroot/skysports/404.php
Knowing FOM, they will get Google cache to delete it (or it will be deleted) shortly.
Wonder what FOM/BE objected to? The “grubby” description or Brundle saying he’d call BE in an emergency??

15th July 2013, 19:54 at 7:54 pm #238770Joe PappParticipantWatching that video, it’s OBVIOUS that the water being added DIRECTLY to the POCKET is for one of two things:
1) to cool or moisten driver’s Johnson
2) to illegally add weight – ie, cheatingTake it from an expert at cheating at the high end of professional sport – that’s either a d!ck joke or a lame attempt at cheating. And I go w/ the latter…
Of course, maybe it’s someone trying to get the driver Dq’d but I doubt he (Driver) would’ve just stood there and let that shiza go down! Normal reaction would’ve been to punch in the face the unknown water weenie!
14th April 2013, 19:19 at 7:19 pm #228161Joe PappParticipantI do like Suzi, and I do think she will eventually get more relaxed in the role as it all seems a little bit forced at the minute. No different to how Jake, EJ and DC were back in 2009 though if I remember correctly
This.
I really don’t remember 2009 such that I could comment on the trio’s harmony then, or lack thereof. Regardless, I hope you’re right and that she continues to develop into the role.
And just for the record, I’m not personally criticizing the woman or anything like that. I’m just expressing the opinion that I don’t find her to be a compelling F1 presenter in the current format/set-up.
14th April 2013, 16:49 at 4:49 pm #228159Joe PappParticipantWatching the BBC red button forum coverage right now, and am having a difficult time tolerating Suzi Perry. I want to like her but she just seems so out of her depth from a technical perspective and understanding of the sport, but also fails to manifest the same charm and poise and ability to be a master-of-ceremonies that Jake possessed, even though he was no F1 expert either. I also find her accent to be very annoying, but I’m not British. Others may disagree and find her quite enjoyable I guess…
19th March 2013, 23:04 at 11:04 pm #228629Joe PappParticipantYuk! Have you watched the BBC’s coverage? I’d pay the extra to not have to put up with EJ and DC!
@Asanator, I picked up all of the weekend’s main coverage (practice, quali, race) from SKY HD via Darmeth, and also obtained the BBC highlights for comparison, and I have to say, this Suzi Perry was horrendous and made the BBC pre-race portion of the highlights simply impossible for me to watch. I was a fan of Jake Humphrey, and have preferred the BBC to SKY for the past few seasons, but I find this Suzi Perry character (about whom I knew nothing until this weekend, not being from Britain) to be simply unwatchable. UGH! UGH!!!
