@looseasagoose I believe they are. The WSR champion used to get a run in a Renault but is now rewarded with a Red Bull instead.

Yes they are, but they are both constructors called Lotus. The modern Mercedes (née BAR) are a very different team to the original Silver Arrows, but they didn’t win for the first time in 2012.

There may be no driver with an Italian passport, but F1′s still full of (at least partly) ethnic Italians. Di Resta, Massa, Ricciardo, Bianchi…

It’s not beige, it’s JPS Lotus gold! Looks far better and more like the Lotuses of the 70s/80s than that shade of dull, brown-y gold they had on the car at launch. That looked more like a Wolf.

Am I the only one that loves the livery? Admittedly, the sponsors still look like they’re been fired out of a sticker-gun, but the black/grey is a stroke of genius.
