“”It probably goes back to my street-racing experience in Adelaide in Formula Ford. I’m comfortable on street circuits, although I can’t translate it to Singapore yet. I don’t know why.” – Webber.
Maybe you […]

Going to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone 1 week, 2 days agoIf they allow fans onto the track after the race again then that’s your one chance to get on the start/finish line. One suggestion, take a big umbrella; no one wants to say ”I do” (hopefully!) soaking wet.
And good luck! -

Not ‘everyone’! :)
But if we get some messages then I agree with a lot of others here that we should get them all. And yes some drivers do swear in an attempt to make sure those messages are not broadcast.

katederby commented on the post, Caterham ‘should be beating Marussia’ – Kovalainen 2 weeks, 5 days ago
It would be easier for fans if there were no team orders but then when Vettel demands them it becomes a joke when he then ignores them… often in the same race!

Again with this? Ok, the hypocrisy is that Vettel was the one who has called for team orders when he demanded the team; “be wise” as in Silverstone 2011 and in Suzuka when he wanted Multi12 to be invoked.

katederby commented on the post, Mark Webber’s 200 F1 races in pictures 3 weeks, 4 days ago
Right, I don’t remember the details but the way it was written seemed to infer that RBR asked Vettel to help Webber to the win, which, as you say, was never the plan! Vettel was helping secure a 1-2 finish but […]

Very informative article, particularly since I have a particular interest in this area.

katederby commented on the post, Mark Webber’s 200 F1 races in pictures 3 weeks, 4 days ago
Couple of things; Turkey 2010 came straight after Webber’s 2 back to back wins, not 2 races later, I think that was significant to Vettel’s actions that day.
And was Vettel really asked to hold up the field, to […] -
katederby commented on the post, Vettel: “You don’t want any gifts” 4 weeks, 1 day ago
Of course Vettel wants to win the right way, all drivers do but he’s not adverse to telling the team to make sure he’s not challenged by his team mate or telling them to move him out of the way.
But once you […] -

katederby commented on the post, Webber sent to the back of the grid over fuel error 1 month, 1 week ago
I can’t believe the conspiracy theorist are serious about this one. It’s a ridiculous idea. What is hard to stomach is the timing; after two races and two apologies, I was hoping Webber would have a nice, […]

katederby commented on the post, Webber sent to the back of the grid over fuel error 1 month, 1 week ago
Webber needs that pit lane start with ‘race spec’ car as Vettel had in Abu Dhabi, although changes in DRS this year mean it’s unlikely to be as helpful. He’ll also need the two vital Safety Cars that we had in Abu […]

katederby commented on the post, Webber wins Malaysian GP Driver of the Weekend 1 month, 2 weeks ago
You could say Vettel was only on Webber’s tail towards the end of the race because the team gave him the final pit stop undercut, to rightly, protect him from Hamilton.

katederby commented on the post, Webber wins Malaysian GP Driver of the Weekend 1 month, 2 weeks ago
A brilliant start from 5th (you could argue only poor timing from the pitwall meant he was only 5th on the grid). Good timing in tyre change from Inters, taking advice from the pitwall too.
A measured, faultless […] -
katederby commented on the post, Webber wins Malaysian GP Driver of the Weekend 1 month, 2 weeks ago
So when respected F1 experts say Webber deserved the win, certain people still accuse the voters here of hating Vettel.
Sometimes driver of the weekend is not the race winner.
More people voted for Webber, live with it. -
katederby commented on the post, Vettel: “I don’t apologise for winning” in Malaysia 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Either Vettel was sorry or he wasn’t. It was clear he didn’t overtake Webber ‘by mistake’ and as a driver his instinct is to try and win. So why the crocodile tears afterwards?
I think where many people lost […] -
